@@johnviera3884 I think you may have missed the point of that section. If anything, the smaller your waist is in inches the more challenging concealment may be.

I would have liked to have seen you working the options as in the sidecar connected from the inside and/or outside of the holster. Also having a detachable sidecar to use independently if desired is better as long as there are two clips on the holster and a third on the sidecar so your not just left with one on the holster (maybe, i don't know but would like to know if it's an issue that matters or not.) Also I would like an option of a snap retention I can add or take off as I see fit. I just can't trust gravity or friction and would like to judge the "condition" I need based on my own personal circumstances at any given time or place.) Maybe it's just me, but I like options where I get to choose the proper fit and function of a product I pay for (I mention this as you state you work for a holster comp. and can use this as research and development.) As far as your opinion on concealed carry issues, I feel you are first and foremost (based on size and stature) to have the most valid opinion on top of your 'fit and function' logical approach. Any opinion you have on the subject matter is definitely worth listening to and I have subscribed to hear more of your opinions.

Please do a series of videos for people who want to start conceal carry but have never owned a gun. Education, training, a safe, picking a gun, accessories, anything else I should know. We also have kids so that’s an additional consideration. I want to be thoughtful and considerate about this decision and really think it through before I do anything but it’s a goal for 2025.

Why does the back plate of the 48 dingle around when you shoot and is that bad?
@tessahbooth3 күн бұрын
@@juliusvelasco8922 that’s called a striker control device, it allows you to treat the back plate like a hammer for safer reholstering. It’s designed to be free floating that way. However, if your stock back plate does that then you have a problem lol

recorded incidents of shootings and the use of spare mag are so hard to get for any level of accuracy I guess I'm confused on why you cant carry all the things you mentioned and a spare mag? I carry a 4 inch pocket knife, small multi tool, a lighter with a piece of slow burning wick tapped to it, a flash light and a spare mag as well as my pistol all just in my pockets and waist band no problem. if i have my carry bag i have a full med kit, battery pack, and other items also with me. The point of a spare mag is if you draw your weapon and unbeknownst to you the mag release was pressed while you carried all day and the mag falls to the floor you have another ready to slam in, or you draw and the perp try's to wrestle it out of your hands and the mag is released, or you have a mag failure and it no longer feeds ammo. No matter what the chances are no one ever anywhere is made for being too prepared for a situation but plenty are when they didn't prepare

Nice lightweight truck camper concept. Growing up my family had a hard-sided slide-in truck camper with standup headroom, full galley, refrigerator, stove, sink, head, table, fold out beds, etc. It was a pretty simple procedure to back the truck under it and drop it down into the bed from the included jacks. The most difficult part of this procedure was there was a bumper extension unit that required dismounting the bumper of the truck and bolting a large pair of struts to the frame and then remounting the bumper to that. A camper that did not overhang the bed or had an integral bumper system would have saved a lot of time mounting the camper to the bed. Eventually my dad bought a double-axle camper trailer and an extended dodge cargo van with a 440 engine to tow it. That gave the family a lot more room when on the road and even allowed us to bring bicycles and dirt bikes along.
