Ok, I've never eaten that before. In Australia we only really eat the meat and skin. And some people don't even eat the skin 😅

What you ate there is quite different from what most of the Vietnamese people eat . It's actually the local hilltribe ethnic groups ( Red Dao , Tây , Day , Nung or Hmong ) typical meals . The Kinh majority ethnic group daily meals are finer and more sophisticated . It's a great pity that I am currently not in Hanoi otherwise i will invite you to my place to share an authentic North Vietnamese daily supper with us .

Yes, she has a beautiful house and family. She didn't have the opportunity to go to school but was able to teach herself English by talking with foreigners. It was an awesome adventure 👍

I think durian is hardest part for you, it's has bad smell more than to shrimp paste . If you overcome that, you would be an real Asian 😂

Cause you can see both of egg yolk & egg- white cover on the surface on those eggs . If they are a normal steamed eggs , they would be only egg-white cover on them . And it's maybe fried balut with sweet &sour tamarind sauce , I guess
