Thank you so much Will. I read the instructions wrong and attached the handles to the rods and then wondered why the rods wouldn't screw in the the bench! It took me ages to bang out the cotter pins and start from scratch 🤣🤣

Those pins absolutely will not go through the handle holes with any amount of hammering. Are you meant to drill the holes out?

your 536 looks just like my Workmate 200,with different markings on the wood tops. I think B&D just makes some cosmetic/minor chages,then gives it a new number.

Thanks for this. The instructions that came with it were bloody awful and I was beginning to swear a lot. Thankfully I remembered KZbin. If it hadn’t been for this video I may well have just returned the unit to the shop. I know companies like to do the ‘picture only instructions’ to save themselves the trouble of multi language however I think B&D have done the worst job I’ve seen for this product! Thanks again!
