Haig send thousands to die, maintaining them in starvation, mud and misery meanwhile he and his piers enjoyed a comfortable live safety in the chateaus, drinking wine and having good food with an intense social life. He was far away from the slaughtering fields, completely preserved, posing as hero.

You are extraordinarily ignorant of the truth. For starters, Haig was most certainly not drinking wine and eating good food. If you knew anything about the man you would know that he was remarkably abstemious, sticking to a frugal bland diet due to chronic asthma. Secondly, he brilliantly commanded the BEF to victory in 1918- developing a citizen army into a highly effective, modern force that destroyed the German army and brought the war to a successful conclusion. Oh, and it is 'peers' not 'piers'.

This is incorrect. Mannerheim did not start the continuation war, actually he declined Nazi Germany many times. Adolf Hitler infact got frustrated at Mannerheim. Three days after the start of Operation Barbarosa The Soviet Union sent bombers to capital of Finland, Helsinki, and then Mannerheim saw an oppertunity to take back the lost lands AFTER THE BEGGINING OF THE CONTINUATION WAR.

What a fucking boss Mannerheim was, He told the snivelling little cocksucker hitler in his face that shit is gonna go down if even one finish jewish soldier is harmed and all the faggot hitler could do is comply like the good like beta he was. Rest in peace Mannerheim and god bless the finish soldiers who fought so ferociously against the enemy that it could onyl be matched by their honor and morality (the Finnish forces took no part in war crimes such as the massive killing of civilians. And hitler, whose army was a behemoth compared to the finns could do or say nothing to make the finns to sink that low. Massive respect to Findland from USA literally the most ferocious and at the same time most honorable/moral army of WW2.

IMO it's factually incorrect to list Mannerheim as an Axis leader at all as Finland never signed the tripartite act like all the other Axis members did. Finland and the Soviet Union both regarded the Contination War as separate war from operation Barbarossa, which enabled Finland to sign a separate peace treaty in the first place. This means that this separation is not just a semantical one, but also a practical one as well. Thus the correct term to use is not Axis ally, but rather Axis co-belligerent. Even back then the Finnish politicians not to throw their lot fully with the Axis and Hitler, which is why the President Risto Ryti gave a personal promise not to seek a separate peace with the Allied powers. The intention to keep some breathing room is not just post hoc rationalization, it was the very intent from the beginning. Hitler propably knew this himself as well, but since he was going all in, it really didn't matter. Either he'd win, which would give him more leverage to make Finland a more official ally, or he'd lose in which case nothing really matters anymore, so it's better to take that personal promise than nothing at all..

What’s fascinating is technically speaking Germany was facing enemies from all cardinal directions. In the west facing the western Allies, in the south during the Italian campaign, the eastern front facing the Soviet Union, and in the very northern parts of Norway and Finland facing, Norwegians, Finnish, and Soviets. The Allies though manage to finally win over Nazism.
