Oh please folks are upset because the morals and value will be changed and that was one of the selling points aside from the natural value of the product. The Stewart family who own that hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica are Why te. However, their are hotels in Jamaica that are owned by our people. Negril Treehouse in Negril is owned by an AA family. Plus Travellers Hotel and Cherella Inn are some of the hotels owned by our people.

Why do we continually need to make racial distinctions?

Years ago blacks developed and maintained many of their own communities. Succesful and thriving Schools, Banks, Clinics, Barbers & beauticians---etc. Since racist whites didnt want towns integrated..Black people built their own. And what did those same whites do? They destroyed most of the black towns. They so hated seeing the success without begging from them for crumbs...they looted, burned, bombed and killed off as many of the black residents that they could. And the mobs included police, sheriffs and had the blessings of politicians at every level. Many blacks just gave up over time but not all. Most blacks have no clue about their rich history or the power they can wield if they only stood together. These people must be the descendants of those brave entrepreneurs from the past. When we divide ourselves, prey on each other and act like the stereotypes put forth we are playing right into the hands of every racist theory & cliche. We do ourselves such a disservice. Thank you for showing that there is a better way.

Blacks need their own jewelry appraisal businesses. They wind up going to pawn shops when they could sell to each other with written appraisals. Jewelers charge $100 plus per piece so it's not worth it. There is also a huge need for African mined semi-precious gemstone appraisal

The South Loop Hotel is NOT in Bronzeville. The historical black Bronzeville neighborhood is 2.5 miles south. This hotel is also not located near the United Center, which is 4 miles northwest. It's as the name states, the South Loop Hotel is in the south loop area. Near McCormick Place , close to chinatown and the lakefront. Hackney"s as shown in the video, is closed. And had been for years. Get your info correct.
