I’m not sure why they would have wanted to remove what was the only family coaster at the time. Superman would be beautiful going through those woods though

I absolutely love Verbolten, I really don't know why it gets so much hate. It's an amazing ride. Sure, it may not be the tallest, fastest, or whatever, but it's still such a great ride. Quite honestly, this is probably my most favorite roller coaster that I've ever been on. (And I've been on a lot)

I probably wasn’t the first one to notice it but I was there for the opening of guardians of the Galaxy Mission breakout in 2019. And I saw the yeti and was freaking out. I was like oh my gosh is there yeti

From what I’ve heard, if they were to replace the track, they have to gut out the entire mountain as well to make those successful renovations.

A fun fact relating to this: On the other side of Pennsylvania at the time at Kennywood, the park was planning to remove their "Dipper" junior wooden roller coaster to build their river rapids for the 1985 season. Park president at the time, Carl Hughes, asked the ride's builder, Andy Vettel, if it was possible for them to simply move the Dipper to another part of the park as he didn't want to tear down the ride. Andy Vettel replied saying, "you can't relocate a wooden coaster." The following year when Kennywood opened their river rapids ride, Carl Hughes saw the news of how Knoebels relocated Rocket and has since opened it, and simply said to Andy Vettel, "you lied to me."

Personally my biggest con to storm chaser is the last 3 hills. The rest is so much more fun. The second roll is a blast and so smooth. I will agree the view is not great.

You won't. The lap bar on these launch coasters sit pretty high up on your body and I've done Kings Island's version multiple times and nobody has fallen out
