Night on Bald Mountain is part of Disney's cartoon "Fantasia" from about 1940. This dark cartoon version is much Too SCARY for children. But check-out the one act ballet: "Witches Sabbath" about 40 minutes long , the last 10 minutes is "Night on Bald Mountain". For children let them see the ballet rehearsals called: repetitsia (repeating) in Russian (where the ballet dancers practice in street clothes). Think Wayne Marshall is in London performing and conducting. Do check him out on the piano. Definitely lots of FUN! "Witches Sabbath" is performed by The Igor Moiseyev Ballet.
