Hi, please advise. I have a e30 318 that is running an m20 engine. Can I still use the same 318 gearbox, driveshaft and diff for my m50 swap?

You can, but be aware that the m50 makes greater power than that little 318 trans and diff were designed to handle. If you’re building the car as a nice cruiser you’ll likely have no issues. But if you’re slamming through the gears, redlining, drifting then it’s probably not the best setup for that driving style

Do you get the low beam out indicator on the check panel? I installed LEDs and randomly get it. The lights will also dim after a while because of that.

What’s the thing called that he welded to the kart and screwed the front wheels into

Kingpin welds to the kart and set the wheel caster and camber. Spindle bolts to the kingpin and pivots off the kingpin for steering and gives a place for the wheel to spin freely

It really depends on which throttle body you’re running. You’re best to look at some pictures of the lokar cable online and see if the ends look good for your setup

Because a 13B is cast and the V10 is aluminum block the added weight in the front is only about 150lbs. Battery also got relocated to back, carbon fibre front clip. Drivetrain pushed backwards.
