I bought the same front fenders and had the same warped flanges along the tops. I had to heat gun the hell out of them to get them to sit flat and correct, at the end of it all I got them to fit great but they required much more work than I expected after hearing how "great" shine parts were for years. I'm glad you share everything with no filter from the true standpoint of enthusiasts. Good work so far, I've been enjoying the series.

Suggestion, cut away the brace, remove the hood latch, then weld it back in in reverse to keep the support for the front bumper strong but give you that room to mount the filter. Also to reuse what you got without making something unless needed

@slightlyMADcustoms3 жыл бұрын
I mean you don't have to cut the inner but it would look really weird with it left stock. also you have to harm your rear quarter anyways for the mounting hardware. If you want to leave your rear quarter the way it is, I would recommend only running the front fenders as you don't need to cut up your car. Look at @spool_sohard on Instagram, he has only the front fenders so you can see how that looks!

Are sparks flying not dangerous at all? You seem to have no concern whatsoever about sparks hitting your skin/clothes.
@slightlyMADcustoms4 жыл бұрын
I mean I don’t know if I’m really qualified to answer this because I do regularly set myself on fire, but my biggest concern is not having open gasoline near by and not getting sparks in the eyes. Also sparks will damage paint and glass of nearby cars. But on the clothes and skin, not too bad
