How do MAME games display by default of this system? Do we have to hold the console vertically or can we play them horizontally?

Is there a way to get new button pads because mine have holes in them and are worn out and don’t get that button bounce back anymore i don’t care about the clickyness

That’s impressive this hasn’t been out very long h. I would shoot Anbernic an email otherwise eventually someone will sell them on AliExpress. I’ve bought variety packs off AliExpress as well when I don’t like how a DPad or buttons feel to match up something I like more. Good luck

I’m working on that thank you. I had a software update that changed my camera settings so I changed the way I record but made a few videos before I realized the impact. I’m also looking to add another camera straight now from the desk edge to maybe get closer yet. Appreciate the input

Love your videos, only thing I would wish is that you centered the handheld in the frame and tilted back so its more parallel with the camera as its a little distracting and a little dizzying

Thank you for pointing that out. I keep forgetting that I changed my camera angle a while back and need to face the handhelds up. We’ll see if I pay attention to the post-it I just put on my screen as a reminder 😀

Why does every one of these cheaper handhelds have a stretch out screen by default and not let you change any options. It’s 2024 c’mon, I thought we left this behind us .

The SOC is the VT569B found in the SZDiier D-R35 Plus. There hasn’t been any CFW for this SOC yet

I didn't understand their idea about putting the button indentations on the BAG lol. They did a good job with this device, but there are SOME flaws still they need to fix with their OS.

It’s defiantly not perfect but I like it. I don’t get the buttons on the bag either other than for someone like us being able to tell which bag to grab amongst a stack of bags. That’s where it helps me anyways 😆

Was a coin flip between the E5 & the V10...V10 won with Tails. Just got it in the mail & installing ArkOS. Next time the E5 goes for $25 (both were that price when I flipped the coin) I'll grab one. Then again I'm thinking the XU Mini M now

These should be considered hybrids. It so long, it almost a horizontal and the Cube is pretty much a vertical except the controls are at the sides. I’m in favor of a 8bit battery bank handheld

lovin my Odin 2 Max!! Odin 2 Mini is a brutal Downgrade in my Opinion! 5000 mAh vs 8000 mAh 5 inch display vs 6 inch display

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. The Odin Mini Pro isn’t for everyone. Value wise when it comes to price to performance thr Odin 2 is a better value. But when it comes to having the best handheld performance you can arguably put in your pocket or for someone who doesn’t want the bigger screen they might find more value in the mini even with the higher cost

I have a question... 🤔 This device will only save SNES games in .prg format. The problem with it is that it cannot save natively, as like in battery backup saving on an actual cartridge. It doesn't support RAM dumping. I want to be able to load the savestates on PC emulators such as Snes9X. But it cannot recognize the .prg format. How do I go about fixing this?

I might be wrong but I’m assuming you haven’t changed out the SD card that came in it. File type aside the cards that come in these are mostly read only. The other cause may be the specific core you are emulating with in Retroarch. Some cores won’t write save files correctly.

@@CellPhish No, the SD card it comes with IS rewritable and formatable. I can load whatever game roms, videos, music, or pics that I want onto it. I can pull the .prg files saved from the SD card directly into my PC, but there's NO WAY that I know of (or can) on how to make it compatible/loadable on Snes9X. The Snes9X uses .SRM files which is a 'simulated' battery RAM backup save. I have also heard that ZNES uses its own different save file format that might be compatible with the Retroarch supported formats. But this device does NOT have any type of battery RAM backup feature in it (whether actual or simulated). Therefore, I cannot get a readable/loadable save image outta it so that I can hack or patch any save states on my PC's other SNES emulators. Any clues? 🤔

Fair. It’s anOdin2 Pro on the inside just a smaller form factor. So it is the GOAT of Android handhelds shrunk to make it more portable. If you don’t want the smaller size its bigger counterpart is less expensive.

@@CellPhish not sure on it yet, like what's the typical price of an Odyn 2, how's emulation compared to say the steam deck, just been after something that can fufill my emulation, and Android gaming needs in one, cos i'm not sure if it can work on stuff that uses touch input from the google play store, example, Last cloudia. and even some latest stuff like ZZZ and WW, since i kinda wanna get into finally playing it.

It’s the brightest screen out there so if you like gaming outside it’s the best option lol. At least it’s pocketable. Cant believe it cost more. But the screen is premium. Only reason it cost 40$ extra is the case and screen protector it comes with right ? Cant belive how picky people are with buttons and triggers
