I bought one of these and plan to load it up with just GB, GBC, and GBA as my "ultimate Game Boy". Probably going to use MinUI. Can't wait!

I wish rg40xxv had the same screen resolution as brick does. It would be the best device ever in this price range
@CellPhishКүн бұрын
Solid observation. With a 4” screen it may have pushed it out of this price range however. There must have been a few of the brick screens laying around because 3 handhelds dropped with it

The screen on this is awesome, the D-Pad however, will likely result in a return.

I adjusted to the dpad relatively quickly. But I don't use it as much because the sticks don't suck

Brick seems like an investing in future.. But today right now miyoo mini is a kind of God of super pocketable consoles (with OnionOS of course).
@CellPhish6 күн бұрын
I agree. I've been using the Brick so far during my entire vacation with a pre-build of Cross-MixOS. It's pretty awesome and I can't wait to see what this firmware brings
@Edmund_Christo6 күн бұрын
Have you tried replacing the dpad & face buttons? Do you know if that's an easy process? I'm thinking of getting this from mechdiy but two things are holding me back. One is the stiff dpad. I can get the collector's edition replacements from MDIY, which does look nicer but I also hope it has a softer feel to it as I've heard the bricks stock one can dig into your fingers a lot after some prolonged sessions or when you're playing fighting games. The second problem are those back buttons. Them coming off in your pocket seems like it'd be extremely annoying after a while. I figured it'd be something that'd happen just by looking at them but I haven't found one reviewer that has mentioned it apart from yourself so I thought maybe it wasn't an issue. Is it a common occurrence?
@CellPhish6 күн бұрын
I ordered a set of buttons from MechDIY prior to leaving for vacation. I have pulled the Brick apart a couple times and it's pretty easy. I will do a video when I receive the buttons hopefully next week. I have been carrying the Brick in my pocket all week and have had 1 button pop off once. So far that has been a non-issue

@@CellPhish Thanks for the reply. Good to hear the back buttons aren't that loose when inside a pocket. Looking forward to the video!

To me, the Gcloud is underrated. Alot to do with the price. That being said, I really like it.
@CellPhish6 күн бұрын
The G Cloud is definitely under rated. There was some bad press at release due to its older Snapdragon processor. The handheld is made for streaming so that doesn't matter. That said it does pretty well with emulation

Can you add retroarch cores on stock or custom firmwares?
@CellPhish8 күн бұрын
Yeah. You might have to download them if they aren't already on there
@MrSh4W8 күн бұрын
@CellPhish I can change the folder on my hdd and redownload the cores via retroarch on the series x, or do it via computer think the latter would be easier. Just figuring out what handheld to buy, either the cube xx, the anbernic 40xx h or v, or just all 3 😂

hey man is there a way to play madden 25 on the Logitech G cloud off of one of those streaming platforms?? Thinking of getting one but I would mainly be playing madden/college football if possible lol
@CellPhish8 күн бұрын
Probably off GForce Now but I'm not a big Madden player
@nintendoconvert40458 күн бұрын
If you have a PS4/5 or Xbox One/Series, yes- you can remotely stream from those. Madden and EA sports are not on cloud platforms- you need to have console hardware in your home.

RockNix firmware does not work properly with the V10, I've tried it and no folders for roms or emulators show up. That's why I have to use ArkOS for the V10.

I got one and mainly use it for ps1 gba snes and gameboy games, i gotta say snes games work just as perfect as gba games do, but that probably because the gba is mainly a portable snes, loving mine though i also went with the green and i love how they made the extra face buttons the same color as the shell to hide them away
@CellPhish8 күн бұрын
I'm a little bias seeing as I chose green but I also think it'd an awesome color. There is a surprising amount of systems that play well or look good on this handheld
