Congratulations on your website! I'm trying to learn Latin myself and started wondering where you were. Now I see why you took this break. It absolutely paid off! Thanks for your lessons and we can't wait for more videos ❤

May 13th was considered by Romans to be the Spookiest day of the Lemuria's 3 days!~ Actually the Spookiest day of the year!~ Was born dead on May 13th, day after Mothers Day!~ An It was All Hallows Eve which was Oct 31st, but shortened to Hallows Eve then Halloween!~

Latin has survived and evolved in science and medical terminology. People should probably learn how stuff is pronounced there (or learn ecclesiastical Latin as an alternative): Ursa Major, Lupus, radii, cranium, duodenum, borealis, feline, Canidae, hydrophilic, thrombocytopenia, ischium, ichthyosaurus, ad nauseam, Anno Domini, sine qua non, a posteriori, ad valorem, etc. There were rules how to pronounce these words and how to pronounce everything but such Latin courses and textbooks disappeared a century ago. Now we have awkward meaningless reconstructions and ecclesiastical Latin. I'd choose the latter. However, I prefer Latin the way it was taught hundreds of year ago. People knew it better then and even wrote scientific treatises in it. Nowadays treatises are written in English.
I'd watch 20mins to an hour of one good topic, aye! This is good!

If I could help who wants to learn Latin, try first to learn Spanish that is a worldwide language and very useful and than go on in Latin. I'm Portuguese speaker and it's a little easier to learn Latin. I don't recommend Portuguese because it's not so spoken and a bit more difficult than Spanish.

I didn't realize how trilling your r was difficult until i saw all the videos about it. I'm French native, from Canada, and we tend to roll/trill our r's from behind the front teeth just like the guy explained in the video. In France, they tend to do it from the throat.
