You can definitely hear the roots of Cemetery Gates within this song. This is a masterpiece

Anyone who would criticize this album and the work the guys put on this album needs to understand the times as context - this was 1986-88. So is CfH a better album hell yes, but this album is great work and leads to what came later. Take note, Dime is 20 years old, and Phil is 18! Pantera just had the foresight to realize they needed to do something different to get noticed and they changed their style before the times (Grunge movement) could drag them under and leave them behind, like so many other metal bands of the 80's.

Best metal solo ever written. It was The Sleep for many years but I guess as I get older I lean more to this one. Crazy that one man has my top 2 and Floods is top 10.

Get the extension called Global speed and go to the pitch option and you can change the tone of the song and the gain is for the volume of how loud you want the song it be!! IT"S SO FUCKING COOL!!!! I think I broke the code in music!!

After all these years this is still better than any rap or radio music. Pantera is like a neopolitan, first bite is glam, 2nd bite is heavy, 3rd bite is brutal.

It’s amazing hearing Phil hit these high notes and seeing the evolution from this album to something like Southern Trendkill.

Not only is the solo amazing, note the Rhythm behind the solo, Dime was a beast! * SAVAGE! * Riffs for days! He could of used that Rhythm backing to make a whole song !

This song is proper thrash metal. And it's fucking cool! Don't get me wrong, I like their later material, but wish they made more stuff like this.

Dis pre-Cowboy Pantera with Phil is criminally underrated, they tried to be heavier but still glammy. Thanks God they finds own way
