judging from the renders at the time for Silent Hill (1998) I'd say that single image took 6 to 12 hours to render

Don't bother with one of these. It's just a Super Famicom on a chip meaning poor compatibility with expansion chips and terrible sound/picture. The famicom side is even worse, if you've seen one of those cheap 10000 in 1 junk consoles with a famicom port, it's basically one of those. Bad screen tearing and awful sound.

Good stuff! I just stumbled onto your channel and have been enjoying these discussions about rom hacks. For years I've been enjoying the rom hacking community adding quality of life improvements and new content to classic games! Anyways, I did play this hack years ago and thought it was a fun time! Yes, it is simple and basic, but as the first Mario 64 rom hack, it does some interesting things. I'm sure this was difficult to create way back then since there weren't as many tools, documentation, or knowledge of Mario 64 hacking so much respect to frauber for paving the way for the Mario 64 hacking community!

I've set up the HD mod with the internal Project64 60FPS enhancement, some other patch codes, like widescreen, and player 2, 3, 4 screen patches, and it truly revitalizes this game up to another level

If you like jrpgs I can say Golden Sun 1 + 2 are my favorites of all time. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Also Golden Sun was originally going to be on N64

Fun fact about the 2nd reality project : the original version of the hack was actually so hard (mainly do to a lack of checkpoints in the harder levels) that an easier version was made which is what the realoaded version was based of
