Jessica, loved this vlog!!! I have been with you for years. Especially when you were living in southern CA. Which is my home state and was extremely home sick. You've got this!! I totally think you'll be okay, but I want to share that whenever I've felt light-headed, I just take a few moments and go into child's pose until that feeling passes and then rejoin the flow at wherever the class is at!! I've been to so many studios and no instructor has ever made me feel weird for doing this, and if they ever did, then that's not the studio I wanna be at!! I hope you have a great time! 🫶🏼

I loved this vlog. I feel like we are living the same life now lol, my husband and I just moved to a big city in February, enjoying the beautiful fall now. I also need to make friends here, and thanks for the tips! My city also has discount opera and orchestra tickets for people under 40 😂; we ended up getting season tickets for the opera. Hope you enjoyed Rigoletto! Also I’m so jealous you’ll get to be in New York at Christmastime. That will be so magical 💫

Moving to a new city and making friends as an adult is no joke. We moved in January. I am way older - probably your parents age so really challenging. On top of that , I am complete introvert. Have made a lot of acquaintances but tough to move into the real friend zone. You have inspired me to keep trying!!😃

for you under eyes I recently saw a hack where you use a warm bronzer as the pink/ orange undertones even out the darkness and a concealer that is too light makes it look almost grey and darker. Just an idea, don't know if it works 😂xx

Ooh, I'll try it hahaha!! I will say, the undereye corrector is so far solid!! :) I think my concealer is just too light now hahaha - so I'll have to play with that, but I'm happy with the results so far!

Hi!! Great video!! So I am 78, petite, and still stylish. I noticed how my European recommendations you made for petite sizing. Just a note: I won't buy from Mango anymore because of a total size difference in the same size garment. I found their sizing not to be reputable. Other than that --- you totally miss both Talbots, and Chicos for petite, and P-plus jeans and pants. I know they are not a store in your normal demographics, but both have fabulous fit petite jeans that are better priced than the ones you suggested. Also, I know they don't ship overseas, but Quince has great jeans that can be purchased in short lengths, and are great quality. I loved your video --- very well done, and you are a cutie!!! I subscribed, so keep up the good work.

I buy merino wool ( it’s warm but not bulky) and packable down jackets/ coats/ vests, game changer! Warm and slimming.

Thank you. Styles are so awesome. I do have a question on what is the best style of jeans for me. I hate that I get frustrated at dept stores and just leave. I'm 5'4 with a tummy but no hips So I need something that accommodates my stomach but then it's not too baggy on hips and back

Thank you for watching! 🧡 Jean shopping in store is the WORST sometimes!! But maybe I can help brainstorm up a few styles or spots... Maybe a high rise straight leg jean, with the bottom hem falling just above your ankle, could be a great fit. The fabric should have a good amount of weight to give the jeans more structure and ensure that they won't be too baggy even with wear throughout the day. I think sizing up could make the fit more comfy and accommodating, but the more structured style will help avoid being too baggy despite sizing up. ☺ Off the bat + with a little browsing, a few specific ones that come to mind: - the agolde 90's mid-rise straight leg that I styled in the video mets all the above criteria, but I will say they are fairly pricey - definitely an investment - the everlane utility straight leg pant - the everlane cheeky straight leg jean (will likely have to hemmed) - Abercrombie mid-rise or high-rise straight jean (available in short sizing) - the madewell curvy 90's jean (available in short sizing) I'll make a page on my ShopMy with all of these recommendations and some others to peruse through and I'll link it in the description box for easy finding!! I hope this helps 🥰

Thank you for the reminder at the end that our clothes should fit us not the other way around. I get so bummed out when I try on pieces in my closet that fit too tight or not right & then I don't feel like going out at all.
