It's been a minute since we've had a good chatty style of video! Today I'm diving into the 5 things I stopped buying despite being a fashion creator 👀✨ I think you guys will enjoy this one!! Questions of the day! 1. What is something you no longer buy? Whether it's fashion related or in other areas of life 2. What is something you bought after getting caught up in ✨The Thrill of the Thrift✨ that wasn't actually something you loved? So curious to hear what you guys have to share!! Thank you for watching and the next video *hopefully* will be that sewing vid!!! LOVE YOUUUU 🧡

I used to work at a dry cleaner and all delicate clothing was put into a mesh bag and thrown into the washing machine on delicate. They were never ruined. I have a couple of those mesh bags and it's a game changer for sure.

As a plus size young adult college student, this video was actually helpful to me. For the past 3 years atp, I’ve been trying to figure out what my own personal style is & 3 years later I still haven’t figured out my style.

i'm a Series of Unfortunate Events girlie!! reading those books as a child is such a core memory. i started rebuilding my collection 2.5 years ago but only from my library when they are giving away older books, or if I come across them at the thrift store. so far i've found books 1, 2, 3, 9 and 12. it's gonna take me a while but it feels much more special coming across old copies that were probably so loved by a little girl like me 20 years ago!

They're SUCH good books!! 🧡 I remember just devouring through them in 4th grade sooo And that's so neat! I love that so much - I hope you find the rest of your collection 🫶🏼 I think I'll start doing the same; I currently have 1, 8, 10, 12, and 13 and I'd love to reread the series in it's entirety ☺️

You are spot on about social media bringing trends soooo into visibility these days. I remember as a teen not knowing where to even look to find out if something was trendy or not 😂

I loved this video. It’s so refreshing! I did love watching thrift videos and the more trendy ones you mentioned but I’ve been a lot more intentional about my purchases too, especially after really going through my closet and seeing how much I already had! I really have way more than enough. The post thrift clarity is sooooo real haha

Thank you Jess, your points are definitely helping. I no longer buy anything with fitted bras because that's a trap,it never fit well .

I’m petite so I used to get a lot of items with the intention of altering them but rarely followed through. I haven’t been in a thrift shop in years. I stopped buying animal print and colors that didn’t match my skin tone

I do not buy anything that is not quality, and I thrift everything. I remember when I began thrifting in the 80's on a regular basis, I would thrift two or three pieces per trip, and now, after becoming a professional and growing up to be able to afford many pieces, I am trying to get back to two or three per trip. My problem is never " not finding anything," but finding too much!😂
