I enjoyed most of it. I didn't care for the new woke ideologies being thrown down our throats particularly at the expense of children. I don't know if Harris was designed to be physically, mentally, and emotionally unattractive, self centered, mean, and disrespectful...but the actor naturally pulls that off. I dunno if that's a good thing. Even though it's fiction it really frustrates me that her Mom and grandfather allow her to act and speak to people the way she does.

I think it was by far the best of the three specials as it was mainly just David Tennant and Catherine Tate, and there was actually some suspense and an interesting idea or two. If they'd just not had the bit with Issac Newton and the Doctor now fancying men, it would have been even better. It's better than anything from the latest series with Ncuti Gatwa. We also get the last appearance of Bernard Cribbins. I'd give it 7/10.

Don't forget that in the same year "The Deadly Assassin" followed 'Morbius' and the "Rule of Twelve" was put into play. If a Time Lord could only regenerate 12 times, that meant that Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Tom Baker PLUS those other eight would have meant that Baker would be the last regeneration and that Peter Davison would have been the last Doctor to be, all back in the mid eighties. I believe that Chibnuts is a fan of the "Cartmel Master Plan" that turned out to be this utterly f'd-up crap plot to turn the Doctor into pretty much a god-like Gallifreyan similar to Rassilon, implying that he's been around since the beginning of the Time Lords' existence. It was horrible and never used as a plot point for good reason. I've met people in my 50+ years of being a DW fan who were totally into it and if you shut them down about it, they'd cry or get angry and have a piss-fit. Chibs HAS to be one of those. He's taking his revenge on DW canon by what he did to totally F-up the Whoniverse just to get back at the rest of us who though Cartmel's "plan" was lazy writing, something that'd kill the mystery behind the character, and sink the whole damn show. You know; like what happened after Chibby dropped his pan-dimensional mega-crap onto us.

Six years after this video was uploaded and the first I have seen. My Doctor will always be the 4th Doctor. I remember watching DW while my mom made dinner. I was hoping the US Doctor Who movie was going to relaunch into a new series but it failed. When NDW was announced I watched all of the new episodes until the Peter Capaldi era. The writing sucked and I was not making time to watch the show. After a few shows of jw doctor I just gave up. After the huge retcon of the cannon I was totally through with the show. When I heard that d- was getting involved with the show I knew it was deader than a doornail. Everything woke goes broke. Not dw is dead.

Just watched this one and positively loved it but the scope of this world seemed a bit to large for the ending... But its hard to believe a reversion in tolerance... But depending how far into the future it is no way to really know I suppose. Just saying as skmeone who isnt a spring chicken not evennmy oarents were raised that way so that as a future for hunans is questionable. I'm fine with the message of fighting intoleranc3 and bigotry but I think that ending didnt work for me.
