How does it work as far as re solidifying? Does it stay a liquid?
@trapsetting101

@patrickhier7252 the weather effects it some. In cold weather it's a paste about the consistency of margarine. In warm weather it's a little thinner, but still works fine.

Seems this is a very old video. If you are still taking questions. I am curious if you keep your bait and lures from the previous year for use in the upcoming season? If so how do you store them? Thanks really enjoyed the video. Got a huge laugh out of the peta-treehuggers. Admire your patience in replying to them.

I've come up to many a critter asleep with a a trap on it's paw. Have to figure with that alone that it is not inhumane. And people don't realize the operations of repopulating certain species like otter and wolf for instance... The animals caught for relocation were caught with foothold traps. I don't think they'd use them in that role if they were going to harm the animal.

Why would I stick my hand in a trap that is a lethal trap? The animal doesn't have to endure being in a conibear. Not the case for a foothold trap. I just wanted to show what happens in a traditional trap.
@xxFairestxx
@xxFairestxx 4 жыл бұрын
@@trapsetting101 it doesn’t? An animal gets its leg trapped in a conibear, lying there in agony until it dies of blood loss or it chews its own limb off?
@trapsetting101
@trapsetting101 4 жыл бұрын
@@xxFairestxx you really need to educate yourself before making yourself look a fool. Conibear traps are primarily water traps used for animals to swim through. No matter what, their purpose is for the animal to stick it's head through the trap. It's function is similar to that of a mouse trap. They are a lethal trap designed to quickly kill the animal.
