If you make some food plots down by those springs keep an eye out for some arrowheads. Could be a good spot for them in that area.👍🇺🇸

Get that spring water checked so if anything happens you know where the good water is. I’ve been told by 2 different people that here in Texas they tax you for natural springs cause apparently the water belongs to the state 😡. Love the trails that’s where I would be all day.

Thanks Bob. This was a cool outdoors and land success! Phil came over today and with 4 inches of snow and ice we drove the whole farm! Beautiful scenery, but lots of iced branches hanging over the new trails! But it was a great ride!

You need to get some 2 way radios so you can communicate with home base, since you don't have much cell service. Get you that Cat D3/John Deere 450/550 when you cut the rest of the road system in, it will make the job a lot easier
@KapperOutdoors2.0Күн бұрын
Yeah I agree would be nice to get a reliable comms system for when we are down in the bottoms! And yeah a dozer would be a GREAT addition to this farm! But we'll see how the refi goes and the budget! Take care stay warm!

@KapperOutdoors2.0Күн бұрын
Yep I do need a lot of tsi for sure. But the cedar thickets are good for deer cover and security, but we need some massive timber improvements. One step at a time though.. Thanks and stay warm!

Nice video. I’m looking to buy a KIOTI tractor in the next few weeks, do you like the HST better on the NS than your NX?
@KapperOutdoors2.0Күн бұрын
Good luck! They are replacing the NX with the NS. The NS is an all hydraulic transmission, removing the electronics inbetween. I do like the new NS hydro trans better. Best of luck thanks!

We got like an inch of ice, and then 4 inches of snow on top of that! But some areas got 14 inches of snow here in Missouri! So not as bad as it could have been. Frigid all week and then more snow this weekend! ugghh... I guess it IS winter time, lol

Putting in those loop roads is key, especially when you hunt the ridgtops. Deer always run down hill after they get shot and it’s going to make recovery way easier! Even if you stay out of there most of the year, it will pay off later
@jphickory522Күн бұрын
They don't always run down hill.

Oh man I totally agree! I have to bush hog it first, and maybe even run the mini ex brush cutter to clean up the higher branches, and then the drag. This is a VERY COOL new loop! Phil came out today in the snow and we ran the whole farm and all the new trails! Good stuff! Thanks man

I am enjoying this video very much! I am in central Missouri, and I am dealing with a lot of the same issues on my land that they have here. I too have thin soil, a south facing slope and old fence lines nailed to trees. I am eager to make improvements though! Anything I do will make the land better!

The extended driveway and parking area look very nice! Good plan to keep the garden area as is. Looks like the cold and ice has already hit some areas, could be lengthy power outages.
