I’ve done home remodeling for 35 years you need a little roof line over the door to prevent the weather from just beating on it all the time

Yeah for sure. Hopefully at some point we can at least get a deck over top of it to reduce just that.

Nice new sliding glass door. A concrete patio slab would be a good idea for sure.

If you have a way to dig post holes and you have a way to haul lumber I would do 50 percent myself... If you can build those blinds you can do the posts in and cement them in there... Then find someone who will trade his labor for a chance to get a deer from one of your blinds....Seems like a good barter trade.... Also the latest thing is people doing dry pours for slabs... There is a method where your get all the dry concrete leveled and spread out and you spray mist over the concrete just to barely get it wet, then you wait a certain amount of time and do it again and wait.. You continue to mist and wait and every time you goto spray you add just a little more volume of water ... by the next day you can pull the forms and have a slab

oh wow that sounds interesting on the dry pour! I know I can level out an area and make wood forms good enough. I do have an auger attachment for a mini but I need to get it fabricated to fit mine, its from a john deere. Hmmm that's got me thinking.. Good ideas! Thanks

Yeah we are definitely going to consider that. Just a slab, should be a lot less than the deck!!

Enjoy your videos an attachment idea for you, check out the excavator cleanup bucket from kmk welding . The profile is excellent for sidewalk, patio and of course cleanup. The 30" is indispensable on my kx040. High quality American made, value priced

Good idea for sure. For now though I'm clamping down on any new equipment unless it will pay us back somehow. I'm just glad I've got the machines for stuff like this, because they got a patio sized area laid with them rocks. Thanks

I definitely would have hit that old glass, or buckled the frame, either way I would have had glass shards everywhere. Good job on the ex skills! Hoping your hunters fill their tags. Cheers from Taney county!

Looks like a classic case of getting the grade height too high. That price for a deck seems a bit bonkers to me, lumber must be riding high again after the storm season.

Yeah too bad we have to do this one, had it been right from the start them doors would still have been good. But oh well we'll tackle them one small bit at a time. Thanks, long time no hear!

yeah but I have to clean all them home made rock patio stones out first! At least its pitched enough that there is no standing water in the back though.

I know that is PVC but looking at the stuff inside of it, it almost looks like an ash clean out for the fireplace. Crazy.

Yep that's exactly what I thought!! But a failed one.. First you could start a fire with hot ash by using it, and looks like it has an elbow to boot.. Wow..

Well the ole mini-x bucket has gotten down to 2 Dracula teeth. I know you are busier than a cat trying to use a community litter box, but take a moment and do some repair and maintenance on your equipment. Yeah, I know I'm OCD about that kind of stuff....lol
