11 months later. Two geniuses. And Ray Cooper is so little noticed, but he played with Clapton so many times. Somehow he adds energy. Somehow seems to draw the band together. Not quite sure what it is but he wouldn’t be onstage with Clapton if he didn’t belong there.

This song never stopped running thru my mind when I met a woman with beautiful eyes who I instantly loved long ago while in Moscow. She and I had to learn how to communicate using phrase books, and Latin. Which we had both studied...that was wierd...the challenges were worthwhile, our children are grown and now we play with the grandchildren.. whenever I hear this song, those wild dreamlike days of endless youth come back to me...Thank you Ian..

Music industry is full of inspiration and there is some plagiarism too. Knopfler is inspired by JJ Cale, Clapton is inspired by 3 kings and Cale, LZ is influenced by blues, Rolling Stones is inspired and influenced by Chicago blues and US country rock. The Byrds are influenced by Beatles and vice versa . The Velvet Underground influenced numerous alt rock/ shoegaze bands ( The Feelies, Dream Syndicate , ye lo tengo ) Tull is influenced by blues,Brit folk rock,hard rock Elizabethan themes etc but they pretty much create their music which is unique to say the least
