There's a video where a guy is flying a helicopter and he touches the emergency rotor brake lever over their head to make sure it's in the right position, and the passenger reaches up and grabs it like she can rest her hand on it. If you pull that in flight it will kill you.

Just imagine this scene the other way around, Han gets back on his ship and immediately fixes the mods that the previous idiot installed. Would have made much more sense and saved his character from doddering around all movie before getting stabbed.

This is one of the problems with the "new" Star Wars. No Character development. She just knows everything. She automatically knows how to use the force, how to use a light saber, everything there is to know about a space ship she has never flown in before, etc.

The scene would be better if BB-8 scanned the falcons data base to find out the problem. And Quickly tell ray how to fix it. Would've been great use of her ablility to understand droids and would've given bb-8 something to do
