0:35 the line and the lightsaber activation sets up a perfect timing for this joke to be made, just as Obi-Wan mentions "clumsy" he gets decapitated by an amateur clumsily wielding a very dangerous weapon. The whole reason why normal people don't wield such weapons is that it is unwieldy and a danger to yourself and others around you, there is no margin of error afforded when wielding such a weapon by someone who does not have the force(or trained in it) to support them. So, Obi-Wan was factually wrong, the Blaster was not clumsy and random, the Lightsaber was clumsier and more random, thus he paid for his snobby attitude and stupidity by his own stupid actions of handing it to an amateur. This joke scene was closer to reality than the actual film.
