I love my classic vibe telecaster, so easy to play, it’s just fantastic.

Got one of these and used it as a platform to make (my version) of an Andy Summers inspired Tele - brass saddles, upgraded electronics, found used Seymour Duncan 59 PAF and Quarter Pounder. She plays and sounds great.

I have a 2010 model. Oozes quality and came with stockTonerider pickups.

I believe the Classic Vibe Series don’t need anything but a good setup. No need to retrofit parts or anything; as long as you’re chasing for vintage features.

i have a CV 50's tele and i love it. only thing i've done to it is install compensated saddles, CTS pots, and a new control plate.

For me, the Squier Standard Telecaster (now discontinued) made in Indonesia was as good than the CV (a great guitar). More rustic, with much simpler finishes but with an incredible sound.

Yeh the Indonesian squires were brilliant... I thought they were going to be inferior to Korean guitars, but they were kind of above Korean guitars and not quite as good as Japanese guitars.

@@mikethebloodthirsty I have a 94 Fender Tele MIJ and to be honest the Indonesian one I also have is just as good IMO and plays just as good.

Good video man.❤. I have 3 Squier Teles 2 are CV series and one Paranormal. All 3 required fret leveling and polishing, changed pots and had to replace the nut on one. A little work that I did on them push them up to play and sound as good as a Fender standard. Have a great day.

I bought a brand new Squire Classic Vibe 60s Telecaster. Right out of the box it DID NOT WORK. IT'S THE LAST SQUIRE I BUY !

What didn't work?
@JeanLeite-d1e2 ай бұрын
Did not work? I find that a little hard to believe! That being said no guitar is ever perfect. I've seen $3,200 Gibson's that weren't anywhere near as good as their price point but that happens sometimes!

I may be wrong, but I think those were Alnico III pickups.

White blonde one is alnico 3. These ones are very bright.

I understand that the first ones had Tonerider pickups.

Not a Telecaster "Custom". The Custom has a Humbucker at the neck position.

What is the difference on who assembles the guitar. A CNC machine makes the parts of wood needed to build the guitar. Does really matter if you are in Indonesian or New Jersey, the CNC machine does realize where it is. So, what is the difference now? let me guess, inferior metal parts, LOLOL horse shit. Fret jobs on the Squires is typically as good or better than a lot of Fenders, so that is out. Can a Squier be as good as USA Fenders? Far better bang for your buck buying a Squire. Fender is just a name. Same as Gibson and Epiphone.

Squier has been embarrassing Fender for at least 3-5 years now in quality, tone and finish! Fender in NO way possible is worth 8-9x the price of a Squier in any world! The Classic Vibe hands down is as good if not better than the same body style Fender product! Want a real eye opener? Look at how bad the Fender's are coming out of their Custom Shop, which you would expect to be their premium guitars. NOT even close!
