Great tips! For me, another fun way to learn a new language is by integrating Immersive Translate to my web browser. From there, I use it to watch my shows and movies on Netflix or KZbin. This keeps this interesting while I learn a new language.

I’d love examples of NON vague language learning goals… I find it really hard to even conceptualize a small, attainable and tangible goal in language learning specifically

Yo no le daría tanta importancia al acento para pertenecer. En solo una ciudad como Bogota, puedes distinguir varios acentos según el barrio. Eso ocurre con cualquier idioma.

37:35 It’s called “Irish” not Gaelic. That’s why Article 8 of the Irish Constitution reads, “The Irish language as the national language is the first official language.”

The speaking thing is so funny, especially with how "comprehensible input" has become a meme in language learning circles. There is also "Comprehensible Output" which comes from Canada (where people learn French and English together all through school). The theory states that people learn language when they try to convey a message and fail, but get feedback (both internally and externally) to correct the error. I know you know this, but I suspect that there are many learners who do not understand that input without output leads to incomplete learning and long lasting errors, even in the context of immersion!

I have been learning English for 5 years in an institute, but it didn't work as much as I wanted but now I am totally fluent in English, but it was because of me! I found a method called cause and effect. If you want to improve your speaking, start immersing yourself in English! Trust me, it'll work because it worked for me. I had my English exam yesterday, and I was a hundred percent sure that it was gonna be easy (it was), I didn't even study for it. So in summary, start immersing yourself if you want to be fluent. Or if you want to improve your writing start reading a lot. We call input to what we consume. Those things that your brain keeps, and we call output to our pronounciation, our brain creates learning patterns when we consume the language!

I live in NYC. I am learning Spanish with Dominican music and telemundo. It just makes sense. So I hear you. When I listen to Spanish from Spain the sounds they make around many words do not exist in Latin American Spanish dialects. Have you hear Enrique Iglesias say “corazon” vs. Romeo Santos saying “Corazon”? They don’t even sound like the same words. Also, irrelevant but you sound just like Kylie Jenner. 😮😊 Very soothing American English accent.

Yewishness? You might be a Yew. But Yew-ish are typically not Yews. You if you did your geneology & you find all Yewish ancestors than your likely a converso & not Yews at all. You most certainly could be, Yew-Ish: To be like or to do something pertaining to the Yews. hence the Ish, If you do your geneology & you find you are a indeed Yews from spain were typically Negro. The Sephardo's Ish did go to South Caroline & other places so its likely but the lineage would have to come from the Fathers line, as is the Customs of Yews & all Yisraelites. @@jeannettenemon3882 Oh i know about Yew-ish history when they all converted & all that. You don't lol & then you will say Hammas as if they weren't funded by Modern Yisrael for a purpose. Nice try though. Racist pos.

@@jeannettenemon3882 SO enlighten me which group & when did they convert? If your talking about the Group that CREATED Hamas & you don't even know that. It seems like your just using white privalage to make ish up. No? I told you the history of the ones your claiming to be from, which if they are the ones from that went to Cuba than they are the ones who created Hamas. If they are not which is unlikely since most of the other ones where BLACK skinned. They came from other places. But guess what sweet hear, They still are converso's thats what Yew-ish means, someone who converted to following after the God of my Forefathers. Ayo Hawwah Great SPirit Bless.
