knows how to discuss global warming in French but doesn't remember how to say 'mushroom' HAHSHAHhahs this video was so fun to make! I genuinely got so much out of practicing French every single day-- if you need to kick yourself back into shape, just start speaking. even by yourself, everyday. then speak some more! let me know if you'd do a challenge like this ~

For me, an Algerian, not speaking fluent (I'm at B1-B2) french makes me feel dumb (even though I speak 5 other languages). I've learnt french at school for 9 years but I honestly can't speak it as fluently as I should be. This video is encouraging me to start learning it again 🌟♥️

you’re not dumb, you live in a multilingual country so the fact that you manage multiple languages at all is impressive :) following Algeria’s linguistic changes recently has been so interesting, i’m eager to see if french continues to be as important in the future!

Cuz you kind forced to learn it ,you had to and needed to , you were't actually interested in it or have passion to learn it , when we don't feel passion about something the process became a burden rather than a fun journey

I'm Algerian too, and I feel the same, lol. My English is not perfect, but it's definitely much better than my French. I can read and listen to advanced content, but when it comes to writing and speaking, I'm still stuck at around a B1 level. Whenever I go chatting on language apps, people often ask me about where I'm from. When I say Algeria, they'll be like, 'Oh, you guys speak French, right?' Then I'll be like, ah It's complicated yes and no, and I continue explaining the situation. Haha

I'm planning to learn French next year so I'm excited. 😄 Maybe I'll do this... but the way my internet is set up... 😫 I don't want to fail because my connection was too weak. 😭 4:34 My cousin speaks a dialect of French and I remember him saying how it's a fast language. I'm legit over here like, "...this is SLOW?" I feel like I speak slow in general so this is going to be interesting. 😅

This is so sick. Quick question though, with the sprint, if im A1 barely stepping into A2,, is there like a roadmap of classes to follow or is it just kinda free for all? Also, how long are some of the classes? Would it be possible to do 2 in one day? (Sorry for all the questions!!!) I thoroughly enjoy your channel and content, keep it up ur gr888888!!!!!!!! :)))
@elyssespeaks

they have a curriculum but you don’t have to go in order! and no, if you do the super sprint it’s 1 class a day, the regular sprint is one class every other day
@katherineelisabeth4387
@katherineelisabeth4387 9 ай бұрын
From my own experience: there's a roadmap for classes at every CEFR stage but keep in mind you may not be able to find them in the perfect order every time because of availability issues (depends on the language/level). Every class is 60 minutes long. You cannot take two classes in one day with the Sprint, and if you do the "regular" 15/month Sprint, you also can't take more than 5 classes in a week (running Monday to Sunday). Definitely familiarize yourself with the handbook; they are only able to afford hosting the Sprint because it's hard to finish!
