I would have gone with something like that instead of my Apple Watch Ultra but I really wanted to NOT be tethered/dependent on my phone. It's pretty awesome to not have to carry it on rides.

The video content is very interesting! I am a little confused: someone sent me a TRC20 USDT and I have the recovery phrase: {pride pole obtain together second when future mask review nature potato bulb} How do I extract them?
@dg56345 күн бұрын
IMHO if there's no electronic resistance management is a no-go. It's limited to a cool-down after a long ride or a race to reduce recovery time. No problem with the smartphone support if you place the bike in a living room in front of a giant tv screen playing RGMTB riding videos. The real complaint is the very large Q factor compared with a real bike. Better to spend a little more and go with a Toorx BRX-90 evo or something similar. For the same price the BRX Office Compact is more versatile. You could edit your videos while keeping in shape!

Is the plastic OneUp tool holder strong enough to still use the star nut/bolt system to tighten your headset?

Yes, but you can't crank it down like you might be used to. Just enough to press everything together. Good question.

I have the full EDC on my bikes. They require tapping of the fork steerer tube. Super awesome and discrete.
@rgmtb6 күн бұрын
I’ve wondered how complicated it is to install that version. How was the tapping of the tube? Did you have to buy any special tools?

I had a crazy install with mine. The EDC sleeve wouldn't fit in my '23 ZEB steerer tube, I banged it in and had to cut it out cause it compressed the headset bearings so much it was stiff to steer. My back up rig with same ZEB slid in with no issues at all. One Up said they never heard of that before. Crazy! So I went with the Spesh SWAT tool

What fork oil was that you were using?? Im lookig for some to oil up my stanchions a little bit thanks??
@MarkLarson6 күн бұрын
Hey for SR Suntour forks there isn't fork oil in the lowers. We recommend dropping the lowers, wiping them down and then putting a fresh coat of light grease like slickoleum, slick honey or judy butter.
@MTB_FANATIC9913 күн бұрын
Can you do this with any airforks??
@MarkLarson6 күн бұрын
The travel change is specific to SR Suntour forks. The air volume spacer is also specific to SR Suntour but other brands are similar (just need different size tools and different spacers).

Because if you have big feet and trying to peddle really hard and fast the normal peddle size is not sufficient
@rgmtb14 күн бұрын
The larger platform simply allows you to spread out the force of your pedal stroke across a larger surface area. Many people with larger feet find this large pedal to be more comfortable for them and feel more secure on the pedal because of the large surface area.

Great idea! I have a suggestion for the level to wrap it with silicone tape to make it feel rubbery and a better traction with gloves.
@rgmtb19 күн бұрын
Another great idea! I would say that something like that should be an added option when you buy it. Maybe the package should give you a couple different grip options. Since this lever is all about options, they might as well go full out on that! Good idea and I'll pass it along to them!

What do you like better? I think there is always a better bike, but sometimes it has to do with the bike being used for the wrong type of riding. If I'm doing more enduro type riding I would much rather be on my Jamis Hardline. Though, if I'm doing XC and have to climb hills, this Tallboy is the bike I want to be on.

Who tf goes to the trails...with a SHOCK PUMP in his bag. Multitool, tubeless repair and a couple of co2 cartridges are already to much.... omg. Soon people will reccomend a 25 liter compressor to pull behind the bike. Never. Set your fork home and leave that "digital" shit behind.

Why? This is a very common place to use a bike stand. You can balance the bike here and equal out the weight so that there is not to much stress on areas of the frame. Please give more details on your comment so that others can better understand why you feel differently.

I'm thinking about ordering the polygon siskiu D6SE One question I have is the front and rear suspension upgradable cuz I will do that eventually?? I'm really interested in the bike I was going to order it on the 20th of this month November EDIT I COMMENTED AS THE VIDEO WENT ON AND I MADE THIS COMMENT BEFORE I SEEN YOU CHANGED OUT THE FORKS BUT THE D6 SE THE ONE I'M GOING TO ORDER COMES WITH A BOOST FORK UP FRONT WITH BOOST SPACING
@theresejames8826Ай бұрын
😮 oh my God did you see the price?
@rgmtb26 күн бұрын
I do agree, this is not a cheap option at all. The amount of light is insane, but you're paying for it. Magicshine offers a ton of other lights that are much more affordable and still produce crazy light. This specific light is for folks that have stupid money and want to light up a football field HAHAHAHAHA! I don't disagree with you, but I do want to say that the light is ridiculously bright so if you have the cash, you won't be upset with the purchase.

Im ordering the 2024 D6SE in a couple days hope its a good bike has no bad review never ordered one before a bike i mean thanks for review whats difference between the d6 and D6SE??
@rgmtbАй бұрын
The big difference between the two is the fork. The D6 comes with a non-boost fork which makes upgrades to the fork a bit of a pain. Boost is the standard now so if you want to upgrade the fork you would need to upgrade the front wheel as well or grab some spacers (that I did a video on). Go with the SE unless you can get some crazy cheap used price on a D6. In the long run you will save money because upgrades will be cheaper. If you do choose to buy a D6 (or any other bike from BOL) it would mean to WORLD to me if you used my link. rgmtb.link/7vZViW This helps me make a few bucks and also allows me to work further with BOL. Certainly not required, but the love helps me a lot!!!!! Thank you and enjoy the bike!!!

Great video. I've been looking into downcountry and trail bikes. When it comes to downcountry, almost everybody talks about the weight and travel numbers of the downcountry bike and not the geometry of the frame. The frame is where I thought the difference was. To me, a downcountry bike is just a short travel trail bike. You're the only one that I've found to talk about frame numbers. I think 67 degree head tube angle came before 65. I believe its the degree of riding that changed the design of the bikes. I know the type of rider I am, and I know that a downcountry bike would suit the trails I normally ride. I want to get something that I wont be able to out ride. A D, with some future upgrades will do that, and a T comes like that with the climbing loss. With that said, do you think the D7 is as tough as a T model? I know D is alloy and T are aluminum.

Are they warm war like now my toes were like blocks ice the other afternoon in my 510s so painful had to end up heading home early couldn't feel my feet!
@rgmtbАй бұрын
No, I would not rely on these to keep you warm. In fact, personally I like that fact that they are not to hot because most of my riding is not in super cold weather. For winter and colder riding I use other shoes. Something you can try is wearing a pair of water proof socks over your normal socks if cold wind is bothering you. They will help! They cut down on the colder air hitting your toes. Just an idea that has helped me ;-)

Sounds more like a reach problem than grip problem! Saddle and bar position try adjusting that rolling your bars back slightly move seat forward a bit so not riding your hands with your weight. But if you want try new grips the New Peatys monarchs mushroom type are incredible comfort and stick with and without gloves! The large tapered version are just made for the inside of the hand 100 times better than Ergon hard slippy grips that give you blisters without gloves! Telling you try the monarchs you will love them!

No I would not use these to reset a bead. In my bike bag I'll also keep a Co2 in there just for that reason. The Co2 is just for emergencies like a blown bead. Other than that, all I use now is this pump.
