so its not risky to close off the suction line while the unit is running ? I've always been told other wise. does it depend on type of unit?

what could i do to make long harvest cycle besides hammer and screwdriver ??
@TonyRodriguez-ok2ix5 ай бұрын
mineral oil would stick to chlorine poe oil floats threw the system.sum times the oil can float and get stuck on top of the refrigerant in the reciever according to emerson. the cure was adding a bit of mineral oil so it could help push the poe oil.

Blocked condenser as its in a dusty environment so the condenser needs blowing out
@glenjones44047 ай бұрын
When you adjustment on txv you should ut the top back on as your letting alot of hot air enter which will drive it up the wall plus you could add a sight glass in the future which would make easier to diagnose next time

What fan motor he used to replace?
@dhaslam0039 ай бұрын
The system is low on refrigerant or has a plugged drier. Sight glass not supposed to flash in low ambient. It’s flashing because refrigerant is stacking in condenser to keep up head pressure and there isn’t enough liquid in receiver. Clear glass and add an extra #. That’s what I would do.

A very helpful tip to extend the life of the compressor is to add 50ml of water to the compressor before regassing. This will cool the compressor

I have a GE condenser motor that keeps stopping or spinning very slowly on a Kenmore older frig. Great idea as i was going to remove the metal cap to oil the bearing but I like your idea if i can find my awl. I am having trouble locating a replacement motor if you have any ideas where to buy that would be great. My motor is basically all metal design, like yours, rather then these cheap plastic replacements... Phil Jersey Shore Area
