If you'd look closely at the three gifts, the appearance of the receptacles strikingly resemble key steuctures in modern day Jerusalem. The Gold resembles the Golden dome of the Dome of the Rock which is npw standing atop Temple Mount, site of the Temple of Jerusalem. The Frankincense resembles the belltower of the Anglican Church of Jerusalem, one of the tallest church belltowers in the Holy City. The Myrrh resembles ( correct me if I am wrong) the dome atop the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, site of Golgotha and the Tomb, the site of the Resurrection. Even the Magi who offered the myrrh has an agal that is strikingly different from the other 2. His white agal brings to mind a funeral shroud, much like the linen shroud that Christ+ will be wrapped in after His+ death.

I've just watched this. Luckily I understand German. I think Rudolph must have been traumatised by his childhood and all that happened afterwards. I'm from Manchester and I doubt anyone else from here has ever heard of him. I think he'd have made a brilliant emperor. Up to now i' thought Franz Joseph was kind and understanding but I think he was so conservative given the era. I find myself feeling extremely sad watching this.

Sie war als Kind unglücklich. Sie hat Liebe und Zuwendung nie gelernt oder erfahren. Zu früh verschachert worden. Da hatte sie es auch net gut. Depressionen ihr Leben lang. Was, erwartet man von ihr.! Ist normal das, sie dann so war

Ein guter und gelungener Film - interessant dabei ist, dass es recht viele Analogien zu dem Film: „Arzt aus Leidenschaft“ mit Klausjürgen Wussow gibt, das Thema ist fast dasselbe. Doch beide Filme sind gut.

OMG. Geh zu 1:08:38 min., dem Vorspann zu 1:10:05 min. Wer den Film bisher gesehen hat, dieser erste Kuss passt absolut nicht so plötzlich in das Drehbuch. Und dann weiterhin, es scheint fast so, als ob sie den Film so schnell wie möglich beenden wollen.

Offensichtlich verfilmung eines theaterstücks:textlastig,nur innenaufnahmen,langweilig inszeniert.mit einem kleiderständer in der hauptrolle.

Was für ein scheusslich verlorener Film!...da waren die Ärzte noch Idealisten,die Schauspieler bescheiden,u. Die Frauen waren noch nicht emanzipiert.dem führer gefiel das.den schauspielern dieses verlorenen zentnerschweren Melodram passierte-ausser dem Schweizer hubschmid-...nichts. Besonders verlogen,dass der ober Arzt behauptet,er würde jeden Patienten,unabhängig von seiner Herkunft behandeln,während gleichzeitig mengele,oberhäuser und Co. 100 000 de in die gaskammer schickten!...ucicky hat nach dem Krieg noch in diesem Stil weitergedreht.das Adenauer Publikum liebte das... Erst mit dem Oberhausener Manifest 1962 wurde vielen besser!

Europa war auch nur ein Pulverfass, weil die Briten und die Franzosen es so wollten. Der Krieg gegen die übermächtige Habsburger Monarchie und das deutsche Kaiserreich waren unausweichlich, wenn Großbritannien weiterhin der Hegemonie der Welt sein wollte. Das ist der Grund für den ersten Weltkrieg. Den anderen Quatsch könnte alles vergessen.
