Where I live in the Pacific Northwest, there are several kinds of birds who are amazing and uncanny mimics. They will hear all kinds of technology (among other sounds) and reproduce them exactly. It is incredible! I have a strong suspicion a bird was the culprit behind the mysterious recreation of the phone alarm.

Thia used to be better when there were "real" stories being told. Scary encounters, deliveries, home invasions and that sort of thing. These new stories are so cringey

Long time listener here, just feeling the need to thank you Dane for the absolute perfection that is presented in every video. I have CPTSD, and anyone with it understands the chronic insomnia. You would think that someone with PTSD would be triggered by many of these stories however, it’s quite the opposite. I’ve spoken with my psychologist about this and he said the reason why I feel comforted by many of these creepy stories is that it kind of brings me back to reality and helps me to realize that there are other people out there struggling and I’m not alone. As far as I am concerned, you are the master of narrators, please don’t let the negative comments about repeats upset you.. I do not call them repeat I called them refreshers😁 I have listened to every single video numerous times and I cannot get enough. I cannot wait to subscribe to Chilling. I just want to thank you again for helping to soothe me to sleep. 💙🖤💙
