Got exact same tent Mark m8. I've seam sealed all the spots where the stitching appears to open up gaps in the fabric..touch wood,no leaks,so far. But I went over seam sealing the gaps multiple times my friend..👍👍

Hello Mark, Nice setup. May be I'm asking you this question too late. I'm actually trying to decide between two tents - "Roben's Raptor"(same model as yours) and the "Terra Nova Pioneer 2". I will be using it for bike tours and hiking trips both. Pioneer 2 is smaller and is about 2kg in weight which is why i like, but I like the stabler 3 pole design of raptor. I also like the large apses in Raptor, could be useful during heavy rain. I'm from Denmark, where it's always raining in Spring and autumn and has high winds. I will also be using the raptor in Iceland in a year or so. despite the flapping of Pioneer 2, it also seems to hold fairly well in strong winds. But what do you think of the Raptor tent in terms of weight and space for one person, specially for hiking ?
@Johnnyexploresscotland4 жыл бұрын
That's a nice looking tent
@fraserconnell214 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark,hope you're well mate. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on the Raptor. I've the exact same model as yours. At first i thought it to be quite awkward to pitch but now I'm used to it I'm alright with it on account of how solid it is. Love all your vidz,especially those hard won summit camps👍.Hope to hear more from you soon pal.A.T.B. Fraser 👍
