No other music affects me the way Jane does. It truly is the best. This song remains to be my absolute favorite by them. Hearing it live adds another layer. It is mesmerizing, and hauntingly beautiful. There really are no words for the depth that this song brings. An unreal masterpiece. It makes me feel grateful to be alive.

Too 'concept-album' to be Nirvana's harbinger, bur doesn't detract from the artistry. If Nirvana were Beatles + Black Sab, then Jane's were Bauhaus + Led Zep. But we lost Perry to Zionism & Hollywood same way we lost Kurt to heroin and suicide.

One of the best rock songs ever written. FYI - this is a 100% hard progressive rock song - right up there with YES, Genesis, and Jethro Tull

I cant believe these C@NTS at youtube put an add in the middle of this song, which they don't own in anyway. Where are people going to leave the F@CKyoutube era?

I remember taking a road trip in the early 2000's in my '99 Dodge Avenger. I went to visit some cousins I hadn't seen in a while. It was a beautiful day and the windows and the sun roof were open. I listened to Jane's Addiction during the whole trip. It was a two hour drive. I had a great time driving and I especially loved this song when it played.

That’s unfortunate. I’ve loved em since I was a preteen (looong time) and the climaxes and bizarre screams or bends in songs still give me goosebumps. Hell Eric’s style inspired me to start playing bass. Idk, maybe it was the drugs and atmosphere, nostalgia and all that

@capttrips1523 I was around this band when they came out, plenty of d**&s too. I just don't like Perry Farrell. Lyrics aren't a make or break for me, but his are pretty weak. The drummer is really good though. I revisted them because of the hype from when I was a teen.

Saw this tour at Madison Garden. Their performance of this song is one of my top moments at any concert I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been to over 700 shows. I was also at the NY show last month. Worst single performance I’ve ever seen by an individual musician. So sad.

First introduced with Nothings Shocking. Masterpiece of an album, but Perry's vocals are better studio. Love the reverb he did with his voice

I got to see them 10 days before the fracas, and believe it or not, the instrumentals were better than this, especially Dave Navarro. Everything about Perry was worse, and I really miss the little guitar parts he adds in this performance. This is my favorite song of all time. So glad to find some people here who agree.
