I reread the whole series when I was working night shifts after having only watched it back when I was like 14. I think it's worth it just to see exactly how much fucking foreshadowing Oda was putting in those chapters for stuff that wouldn't happen for over a decade

I sometimes wondered why when a majority of youth would come up to me they always come up to me in a joking manner and not just in a normal manner to have a normal conversation though a simple one. Especially middle age and high schoolers. University students are usually more serious but still a few are just good balls. Sure it could just be because kids are kids lol. Btw I’m not an English teacher. I was for a short time to adults though.

there is nothing more impressive than seeing the immensity of both human creation & natural wonders. if you do not get excited for "good views", its simply because you are low IQ and/or do not understand or care about the complexity of what you are witnessing

Unfortunately Japan is not the only one that does this. The US phone companies do this a lot too. Verizon for example will not allow you to outright buy a phone from them, you have to buy a 3 year plan from them in order to use their phone or buy an unlocked phone from someone else and bring it to them to use their service with being locked in.

What is wrong with climbing Mt fuji doesn't everyone do it ?
@akirayuki6275
@akirayuki6275 5 сағат бұрын
Nothing wrong with it, but it seems like most people underestimate the climb and the potential stay up there (fatigue, temperature, reservations, etc.), so I guess the ones who watched Mudan's video got mad at him for taking it lightly since they felt like it was mocking the ones who actually died while doing it or promoting it for more people to do. I haven't really watched the video so Idk if these opinions are founded on anything, but I do admit it sounds weird to get really mad at it, it's good to warn people though

@@akirayuki6275 What these detractors don't account for is the difference in experience. In the main video there was a short clip of him from before taking on a physical challenge event dressed similarly to what he's wearing here, and just overcoming obstacles with nonchalance while other contestants fumble about. Mudan also mentions he was in service of the army before, so it becomes clearer that he has the experience where endurance is concerned, mountain trekking being something else (altitude sickness issues etc) Even myself, occasionally come across lightly dressed trekkers atop mountain trails in Japan while everyone else has regular trekking gear. Mountaineers who precariously carry gallons and kilos of supplies to mountaintop huts up steep slopes with great risk. Yet no one disrespects them for taking any mountain lightly. Mudan does it his way because he can, nothing about disrespect or underestimation. If his detractors are simply people from countries who don't have mandatory conscription or even mountains to climb, then all they're doing is playing social justice with their lack of experience.

It might be a case of more is less. If you see a tiny portion of your parents life you assume there's an iceberg and you only have a tiny part where is if you have a seemingly modest-large collection of things a younger person might think of it as a summary of their entire existence even if it's just more of a similar iceberg

For me, it's Clannad After Story > Hunter X Hunter (1999) > Hunter X Hunter (2011). Preferring the old HxH over the new one might be the hot take, but I've finished both adaptations of HxH and the old one has so much character that it makes the new adaptation just feel a bit flat and more of a generic shounen in its presentation. The music / soundtracks in the old version also fits the show much better, in my opinion.

What happened to Joey is exactly what happened to me. I didn't really watch many anime prior to 2013 except a few like Cardcaptor Sakura, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, K-On!, and mainstream ones that aired on local TV, then I watched Clannad, felt unimaginably empty after finishing it, and I just snowballed watching Air, Kanon, Angel Beats, Anohana, basically all the sad and good anime that came out ever since to fill the void (it's not filled yet, btw). Weirdly enough, I also didn't cry at the end of Your Lie in April, and I've been thinking if I'm the weird one. It's still a very good and tragic anime, GLaD to know that I'm not alone on the not crying part though.

I think shindo is doing a good job. The problem with our society is that people who fall through the crack don't exactly tell their stories (they die or try to move on). I grew up on midtown east side, long island, and forest hills, so unfortunately, I never quite came in contact with these people and kinda assumed they were fictional. In the last couple years lets just say that one way or another, i came across these individuals btw being trafficked as kids or getting harvested like metamorphosis, it happens pretty often in shittier zipcodes the number goes as high as one in ten or higher and "middle class 90 to 150k" zipcodes it is closer to 1 in 100 which is still kinda insane. Asia also has it as a problem. Kinda sad the filthy aspect often means the girl from metamorphosis is segregated from rest of society unless you look for it. I remember taking my friend to a bordello to prove that it exist i think i paid the girl 200 bucks in asia to tell her story and how she ended up in one of the prostitution counties drug often have plays a big role.

garnt teacher telling the class get stockholm syndrom and you no longer have problems with your problems. ps.: that paradox may be best explained by not thinking how do i winn but when do i lose. first you have a 66% chance to chose bad so if one bad option gets removed as you where more likely to have chosen the other bad option is it statistically more likely that the one you didn't choose was the right one.
