I use long pins with flowers on top. I have written 1 to 12 on the flowers with permanent marker. I use these on the first block of each row. Keeps me sane.

Very cute! As an experienced seam ripper, yikes!, if you lay your item on a flat surface, you can run your seam ripper all the way through the seam. I told the hubby last night I might need a new seam ripper soon. 😅
