2 fantastic quilt tops. I like that the 9 patches and white squares go together so easily. But the *scrappy* quilt top was my favourite! Love the randomness of the green/white strips and the other colourful lengths in between. It will truly be a *unique* 'one-of-a-kind' quilt top when finished - love it 🥰

Hello Annette, I really liked how you made the two quilts. I am currently working on a irish chain quilt myself, I'm using the leftover backing fabrics from my mums and brothers xmas quilts from a few years ago. Mums was a dark blue and light gray paisley and my brothers was a dark blue mottled fabric with black small dots. I have enough fabric to make a throw or single bed sized quilt. It feels good to make something completely from scraps and the added bonus of the memories that the fabric came from quilts that I made for my family members. Thanks for always showing great ideas for quilts to use up our stashes. Rosemary

I am currently making this Irish Chain quilt for my son’s bedroom in the same green and cream. My centres are the green though. I just love it and so does he. Also, I made my strips 2.5” and my centre is 6.5”. I think I’ll be doing more of these very simple quilts. Thank you for sharing yours. I love both quilts you’ve made 😊
