Here's a tip for lexan reinforcement I just personally tried and REALLY liked.. Flex seal. I used the clear version, 2 thin coats that barely weight a thing, and it made the lexan feel like a hardbody. It's still flexible, but compared to the old bodies I treated with shoogoo and fiber tape, I can't tell much of a difference. Pass it on!

To try to get around the lousy pot metal gears that so many WLToys vehicles come with now, I have ordered parts to put together a complete LC Racing gearbox. I am assured they are real steel gears and the parts come through a dealer in the US- no waiting 3 MONTHS for parts. As with all builds, please us the Show More button to list and link what you’re using. Great builds, as usual!

Hey! U just earned new sub!!..I had a question is how do u make a rc crawler go faster or atleast upgrade it?
@Spacecadet07304 жыл бұрын
Lot of factors can make it go faster depending on where you want to upgrade. Easiest is if your car can support it would be to increase the cell count in your battery, 2S to 3S for example. However you need to know if your ESC and motor can handle that. Second easiest is to decrease your pinion size if you have an adjustable motor mount. Keep in mind you will have to closely monitor the temp of the motor. Third easiest is to swap the motor. If its a brushed motor, you can get one with lower turns, if its brushless, get a higher KV. You need to make sure your ESC can handle the increase current however. Another option is to get bigger tires, it will change the final drive ration, however you need to be mindful of your differentials, since it will add more stress.
@deafen4 жыл бұрын
Will getting bigger tiers really affect the speed? Cause it seems the easiest way xD

And where can I learn more about these rc motors and ESC cause I absolutely don't understand it but I want to costomize my RC s
@RCOverKill4 жыл бұрын
Do you know about the ride height adjustment screws? I burnt my stock esc up today on 2s, I put 1/10 Redcat blackout tires on back, and was rock crawling, burnt esc in less than a battery. I raced it for hours last night against a Traxxas summit, and Arrma granite, I smoked them every race like cheap cigars, lol I beat em by 2 laps almost every time, lol I was young with em, now they want 1.Well guess I'm sticking that 60amp esc/4300kv combo in next week. I'm hoping to break 70 mph. Im new here, I posted a video of me flying a little race drone following an X Max doing a speed run right into my legs, Thanks !

Hi Spacekadet. Very good setup and mods :) Can you tell me how much oil you put in each shock? I want to change the oil but I don't know the right amount. The only thing I know is that's not supposed to be filled to the top.
@Spacecadet07304 жыл бұрын
You can fill it up to the line on the inside then put the cap on. test it to see if the piston bounces back when compressed. You want full compression of the piston, and it should slowly extend back out. If you can't compress it fully, its overfilled. If if compresses all the way and doesn't push back out a little on its own, then add a little more oil. Remember when filling to work the piston up and down to get the air bubbles out. Let the shock sit uncovered with oil so the bubbles rise to the top and escapes.
@Motorato614 жыл бұрын
@@Spacecadet0730 thanks a lot. I'll do just like that. Just bought the oil today, tomorrow I'll make the change. Greets from Lisbon, Portugal.
