Cloyes chains and gears aren't junk, just used one and it was/has been perfect. lmao, also, SA gear is Cloyes, and a great thing about this Comp Cams Is supplied by Cloyes aswell, and so is Howards, and summit racing, so, its just in your eyes.

@@joefrieson5100 I have no idea, was on fire when I came in the door, I paid to get in and the employee took my money, never gave me any change,then ran out the door with a fire extinguisher. I waited prob 10 min before he came back

I have a chevy 4.3l v6 but I dont know which timing set to get, I first got a melling timing set with the upgraded tensioner but it made some unholy noise after like 2 days, and cloyes seem like crap... shoud I try an sa gear set?

I have bought and installed probably 50 small blocks from junk yards. Never had a problem with them. Never had to return one. Of course that was almost 40 years ago.

LS motors are taking over 😢 breaks my heart to see the sbc fading away…. I have a cpl 283s, cpl 350s and a 327 sitting in my shop

@WhodatnTx yep, nothing wrong with a SBC, ev one seems to think an ls engine will solve all your problems, at least not till you spend way too much to swap to one, find out it's not super fast without twin turbos and then scatter it all over the pavement 🤪😂😭

The ram horn manifolds are worth 200 to someone building a s10 i used them instead of block huggers. They flow pretty good considering they are stock
