The 101 all day would be my opinion but the sport scout is really cool lookin to.

I went and looked at the new scouts and they felt small for my 6’3 height I ride a Chief bobber 111, accessorized of course( nearly dumped in my driveway yesterday while it was idling, kick stand shifted, small heart attack haha) 700lb bike. I enjoyed my 1st scout rogue 60, but it was torture on my back and hips. The new ones felt the same- I wish there was more options for tall riders. I had to really set up my Chief with a lot of after market parts to make it comfortable- Harley, forget it, Street bob and breakout ( not really a good cornering bike)were cramped and upgrade to a 30-40k bike is not an option. FYI I don’t care about DEI bs on either company, I don’t think the bikes care either, I just ride. Performance, scouts are a little zippier than my Chief, but I like the bigger bikes for comfort-

My pick would be the 101 for sure. I think Indian should have based the super scout on the classic. The bigger fenders would give better rain protection for long rides

I’m very happy with my 2019 Bobber. I bought it used with about 2,300 miles on it. I’ve had a Suzuki Yamaha,Honda and triumph. It was great having another American made options. First time I saw it, it was sitting on a raised platform with a spotlight shining down on it. I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing when my eyes first took it in. I get nothing but compliments when I go out. Once at a highway rest stop as I parked near a couple of full dressed Harleys with a rather large husband and wife sitting nearby on a picnic table. When I was heading back to my bike aa truck driver was standing in front of it and he asked what it was (i de badged it) I said an Indian he replied “Badass” I said thank you and glanced over at team Harley and shrugged my shoulders which got me two rolled eyes. It made me laugh.

Almost 2K miles on my 101 and the only gripe I have with it is that I’m more hunched over the tank more than I’d like but I am also 5’ 4. Forward controls don’t bother my but definitely need to pull back the handlebars to be upright

I have a ‘23 scout rogue… love it. The sport scout is basically the same except the rogue has the mini apes and the sport has the risers.… and a new motor of course.

I sat on them, and the Super Scout would be a prime contender if I was buying a new bike. Though a Street Bob 114 comes in at the same price, and would probably get my money.

Hey Bro 👋 I was wondering if you've had any previous or recent experience with the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic??? Last year I went to a local shop that sells New and Used Bikes. They had a 2023 Vulcan right next to a 2021 Heritage SoftTail... 🤔 Just from sitting on each one of them, and I actually thought that overall, the Vulcan Classic was more comfortable and ergonomically designed than the Heritage Softail. I'd truly appreciate if you could please do a video about a full on test ride and opinion about the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic!!! Thanks Very Much in advance!!! Just Sayin'🤬

Indian is winning when it comes to entry level bikes. The scout bobber looks good. The sportster s… isn’t for me. The biggest advantage Harley had with the sportster was the interchangeable parts over the years. The scout shares more DNA with the OG sportster than the sportster S.

I really don't understand why they got rid of the mini apes on the sports scout and just put a 6" risers.... I am looking into that bike, but I would much rather have the mini apes or at least the 10" risers out of the door instead of the 6 " ones.

Would you recommend either the Indian scout 101 or Indian sport scout limited + tech for a first time rider? Right now I am torn between: Indian scout 101 Indian sport scout limited + tech Honda rebel 1100 I'm 27 father of 2 and don't have "the need for speed" if that makes sense I just want to enjoy the ride. I got my endorsement this year but still shopping around for a bike which I plan on purchasing beginning of next year.
@brettcloud85502 ай бұрын
In the same boat as you, no kids though lol. Window shopping for my first bike after passing my endorsement as well. Rebel 1100/1100T looks mighty nice, I think the 101 might be a little too much bike for me for my first bike.

Scout was my first bike, don’t think it’s too much bike. Super comfortable, easy to manage, inspires confidence. In terms of which one I’d go sit on them, do some test rides, and consider your budget… but a Scout is a solid 1st bike imho
@billb41752 ай бұрын
My first bike was a 2005 sportster. I put the dings and a few drops on the bike until I became experienced. My bike now is a scout 60. A really good option for a less experienced rider.

I hate my sport the only option for you is a dumb looking 10” riser none of the other handle are compatible from the factory, only because of the wiring and clutch and brake line. They designed the sport and the 101 not to work with any other handle bar except for the 10” riser. Get the bobber classic or super you can change anything you want with any part. The sport is a giant kick in the nuts from Indian. Also good luck putting decent sized saddle bags on it.

I know people said Indian only had one DEI thing on their website, and they took it down. Have you checked out Polaris? They are more woke than Harley! Both companies are full of crap. It's a shame.
@LukeGordon-j8f2 ай бұрын
You’re right. Indian is attempting to hide their wokeness. There is already talk of eliminating the Indian head logo. They already removed the colors from the Indian head. Some of their parts are in fact made in Asia, but it’s mostly their electronic stuff which is pretty understandable. I think they’re both equally. It’s really sad. I’m thinking my first bike is going to be a Moto Guzzi V9 or a Kawasaki z650rs. I don’t care how much I like your products if you’re woke I don’t buy, especially with a huge purchase like this.
