I am starting today

I'm a young entrepreneur who had a dream/vision around 6 months ago. And during this timeframe, I've been working my ass off to achieve this dream. I started giving up many things for it, including friends and family. The dream became all I could think about. But during this journey, absolutely everything has been going WRONG for me... 0 money earned. All of my plans failed. People literally laughing at my face. I thought the solution for this was to just keep working even more... So I started to sacrifice my fitness or even my meals (I didn't eat because I was busy working). But the more I sacrificed my health, the less productive I was. And the less productive I was, the more failures I had. Not only that, those failures were affecting me EVEN MORE, since I gave up my mental health. And as a result, I don't have that same mindset that used to make me feel invincible anymore. Instead, I have adopted the same lazy and "fast dopamine" mindset that made me so weak in the past. To the point that now I'm not working at all... I went back to those addictions that I promised myself 2 years ago that I would never go back to them... And I feel... Useless. The reason I'm sharing this, is to thank you for making this video. I sacrificed too much for my dream, and I ended up getting entirely CONSUMED by it. I would have never imagined I was going to have a downfall like this. I'm struggling a lot to keep moving forward, and I realized that what is holding me back from achieving what I want is... Obsession. To be honest, obsession is something that has always been in my life: I was obssesed about videogames until I became the best of the country. I was obssesed about fitness until I became the strongest of my friends. And I was obsessed with entrepreneurship... Until it consumed me. Because according to the pattern, if I just obsessed over entrepreneurship I was going to become the best, and achieve my goals once again... But now I realize how obsession can truly consume you as a living person if you are not meticulous. As the video says, there is a very tight line between dedication and obsession. And sure, you still have to make sacrifices and be really focused... BUT PLEASE... Don't sacrifice your health. For me, I wasn't eating or going to the gym, and every second of the day I was in front of the laptop working. Now, I will have a more organized approach to entrepreneurship, and of course my life will still be guided by my goals, but I will keep the important stuff with me for sure. So... "PURPOSE WITHOUT BALANCE IS RUIN" That's the one sentence that I take out of this video. Thank you so much for helping me in this specific stage!

Thought this was going to be a motivational video on completing the dream. Found this as a bit of that, but also a cautionary tale encouraging balance. But no, sometimes you need that absolution. So much in this life is constantly, endlessly, perpetually trying to pull you off the path into a sea of helpless nothingness where 99% of people seem to reside. Everyone has accepted their fate that they can't be healthy, financially independent, or successful in whatever field they desire. They come up with excuses, and mutually agree with one another that it's ok to fail in these areas. This gives them comfort and allows them to feel ok with their weakness. And that is where they remain. This is truth. If you truly want it, go all in. It's the only way. Once achieved, decide if you want your endgame to stay engaged at this highest degree or if you'd like to implement more "balance". But while on the path, you do not stray, you do not permit excuses or easing up off the throttle. Get it done.
