Sometimes you get no picture or one day when you need it you find CEC or Ethernet via HDMI doesnt work because the cables missing the wires. Certified cables are the best buy !

Yeah sure. Take a good quality pic if your camera can pickup the small detail around the RP1 chip. Also are you sure you counted the LED lights properly.

Hi, pal I have managed to install the choko onto my capcom joystick, but I am having trouble setting up the usb stick. I have copied the (cha choko games list) onto the usb and setup a folder in the roms folder called (games01). The part I do not get now is where do I get the roms from and what format are the roms? There’s tons of roms out there from mame, snes, sega genesis. What roms do I need to make this work.

Hi mate, you need MAME roms in zip files. The older ones will work.

I have around 50 of these in use in upgraded systems without a single one with issues so far and all of them are pre-2021 and in use for 4+ yrs as well as an NVR with a 4TB SKU in use for 2.5 yrs without issue.

My 2,5 SSD Samsung 860 EVO 500GB after 3.5 years and 29TBW started failing. Windows wont boot and drive is missing from bios. Tried on another PC,drive is recognizable and ready to use,but agan it got missing from device manager and bios after 1day of use randomly.

Normally the 860 range doesnt have so many problems like the 870s. Still its unfortunate yours died. Backups are essential when using SSDs.

Not out of the box. You need to jailbreak / hack it first. Its not too hard. I may do a guide if there's demand.

Just found on Samsung Magician that mine has 99 uncorrectable error count and 199 ECC error rate. FFS. Not an old drive and all the others are fine with no errors at all.

similar with u sir i use samsung evo 870 ssd 2tb in 2 days when it's brown out it's damaged the ssd and not detected by bios and disk management.

No this is 1000 model. Theres not a huge amount of difference between them. But In the future I will do a video on the 2000 model if I can get one with a good screen.

I fixed those. Minor oil leak and emissions sensor problem. I used this jumper starter over 50 times lol Now I have a new battery and no longer use it but it worked great every time and still has 5 bars when charged. Thanks for commenting.

Sounds like you have one of the bad batch. Check what the value of the uncorrectable error count is, if its high RMA it.

What sold this to me was the 18650 battery. I have like 200 of these cells I’ve harvested from broken laptops over time. And plenty external chargers. Can literally play this indefinitely.

Yeah same. All handhelds should use 18650s ! No more trying to replace a hard to obtain lithium ploy.

The latest firmware and game mode on TV eliminated a lot of the lag. There is some still there as it uses emulation, but its much more enjoyable now.

Supposedly they started to fixed them after NOV 2021 but since they never acknowledged the problem its still a gamble. I still get reports from people with problems on the 870s EVOs.

You have a few choices Intel, Western Digital, Crucial or another Samsung. They make their own NAND.

Wanted to get another 980 pro, people reporting those failning, 990 pro is supposed to be the best, people reporting those failing too... Whatever I google will have articles about it failing :D So I started thinking I will use SATA SSDs and hook them up externaly just for back-ups and archives... But now they say those are failing too :D Maybe I should just get a 2TB google account

I bought a 870 EVO a few months ago through ebay (used drive at a discount) and it failed. Manufactured date 6/22. I replaced it with a 870 EVO with a manufacturing date of 3/24, and now IT HAS FAILED. Crystal info shows same on both drives with bad erase fail count, runetim ebad blocks, adn program fail count. etc. etc. Samsung has always been great for me in the past, guess I'll have to accept that they aren't good anymore and go elsewhere.

I have a 2tb evo from October 2021 and it just failed on me. My computer wouldn't even boot with it plugged in as a secondary drive. Very frustrating. I have Samsung drives over 10 years old that still work.

Can it RUN METROID PRIME? Should be the DOLPHIN TRADITION to have that game in every test... It's a sin everytime I don't see the hardest to emulate game be used as the ultimate stress test.

Might be your SD card. Or your downloaded image. I dont think it will be your software. BTW: Did you change the "worktype" to Startup ?

My SSD is 780 evo 1 Tb just became un unreadable on me today. I had it for a year. I still had an under warranty. They asked me if they wanted to replace it or get credit and it took the store credit. I don’t wanna have this SSD in my computer or anyone at that point. My SSD was manufacturer in 2023.

Could you also use this to assign static IDs or unique names (SNES Port 1, etc.) to each USB controller in an arcade configuration? Specifically, most operating systems fail to remember controller "order" when rebooting, so for a custom build arcade using many controllers it can break things.

Yeah its such a useful device. Managed to find what I thought (for a long time) was a problem with my KVM switch to be actually the USB cable GND wire malfunctioning ! Its so good to get visual confirmation that it was the cable!
