exactly, you always swap out the old melee since you need to constantly use the new and more improved version to get even better melee rexes.

it doesn't matter, base stats do not transfer over. I normally dont just because you are trying to look at their original base stats.

it doesn't have to pull it, keep in mind is that the stats can always pull the lower from the mother or the higher from the father. Even though a stat will read that it has a mutation does not necessarily meant that it will always have it, you have a mom and a dad and if their stats are not the same then that means they dont necessarily have to pull the higher stat. BUT when you read the ancestors button at the bottom it will always say that there is a mutation because a baby has to come from the father and it has to come from the mother

yeah the same process still works even if you up your level of your wild dinos. Its just about combining stats.

I am not sure why it is not working for you, I really hope that this helps, but when I went to go and generate a new link it came with the exact same one, I made sure that there was no expiration on this either, i dont have restrictions within my discord, I have had plenty of other people join it.

Tried deleting discord cache, but from what i was told, it has to do with your permission settings in general or for new people joining. Maybe try having someone you know try to join it? idk, but that sucks lol. Thanks for your help.

the reason that i had 19 on one side is because you have to keep in mind that you can get the mutation from the mother or father. The father is the one that always will have the mutations, but you can still pull mutations from the mother. so that is why it read 19 and 1. It still is 20 mutations. But if you wanted it to look as if it read 20 on one side all you would have to do is breed that baby with one of the base dinos and then it would 'fix' itself, but keep in mind it really does not need to be fixed. As for discord, you should have access to "General Chats" but if you ask any questions about breeding in Ark Specfically, there is a chat channel called ASE-ASA-Questions-Breeding. Not sure if you are on mobile or computer but it all should load for you. Just checked the discord settings again, all should be good. I am normally in Main Hang anyway so you can always come in whenever I am in there and ask any questions to me in person if you want.

I believe something with the permissions for the everyone role to see channels, or a bot is not giving correct perms to new people joining. Is what the Internet says at least. It is server side.

I said this back when this map came out years ago, problem with crystal isles, is the map really is buggy af. You probably need to do a dino wipe if you can. Then you need to load the area (like physically be in the area of where the eggs are afk for some time), If you are on console it is absolutely screwed up as well. That was a modded map that never got any attention. Squids and aquatic creatures beach themselves on that map. There are invisible waterfalls that you get dismounted on in the middle of the map. Its honestly buggy as shit.

@@erkl8823 you are right, breeding any kind of gestational creature, especially aquatic is a pain in the ass. we bred tusos on the island and that sucked so hard. There needs to be better implimentation on breeding for gestation creatures. if you breed sharks yhou need to have whistle commands and set your females to a specific whistle and your male to another and when the babies pop you will have to whistle the mothers to claim the baby. but to be fair the gestation for creatures the last i played was so screwed up. We also quit playing Ark because we were just done with all of the bullshite that the game was.

are you on ase or asa, if asa and you are using a mod, not sure, quit playing asa because it was too buggy. if it is ase then it should work, make sure engram is learned, pick up strucutre and put it back down/rebuild it. if you have mods on the game it could conflict, just keep that in mind.

Like in your example, you're doing a melee chain at like 21 and 22 mutations. If a health mutation comes thru on a male could you just take that and name it melee 21 / health 1 and then keep going?

you still use the paint mill to collect the colors of paint, when you have a paint brush, you literally just click a button (I think it is right mouse button) and then you have the option to put pattern and it will show you visibly all of the colors.
