For Console Users You can input the dinos stats and level in the extractor tab then click the "Extract Level Distribution" button to the right above dino info(round food up eg stat 5699.9 input 5700). If all stat boxes turn green and no error message occurs you can save you dino to library. If a stat box fills red ensure you entered to correct number or check that your settings match your servers and click extract levels again. If error continues, click "copy to tester" above dino selection. this will copy the green stat box levels, then you can play with boxes that were red until it matches and save to library. Alot faster than adjusting individually in the tester tab. Thank you SeeShell for your videos, you have completely change breeding for me, amazingly helpful!!!

Thanks for the tute., this is much better explained than when I started using it years ago. The stat keeping didn't really help me tho' cause I didn't put in the modifiers correctly. ***> One important thing - At 21:53 you talk about deleting a listing. You don't have to do this to keep it out of breeding rotation. If you have a breeder that is a hero at swatting momma bug but is among the fallen surrounding the monkey-boi, you can remember him by opening the same menu window, scrolling 2/3 way down and SET STATUS as dead. That will place a small cross in the listing and remove from breeding pool.

I can see from your example that these are all available. None are breeding at this time, none are too young. This is not a criticism just "the more you know" and yes my list got quite big. 😅

Great work MeShell. When I import my creatures they go straight into the library on the fly, I don't need to import each one. Not sure how I managed this however, it just seemed to do this by default. I have been using this programme on ASA for several weeks now, and the updates just keep getting better. Thanks for your time to make these guides :) NOTE: At the 4min mark on the settings window, there is a checkbox for "Auto Extract Exported Creatures", mine is checked, which is probably why mine come in immediately. I also have the "play sound" box checked.

Often times when pulling imprinted tame stats, the app breaks. I end up having to manually add to library imprinted tames using the stat tester. Just a couple things to add. If you have tek binoculars, you can see the actual points in wild level | mutations | domesticated as well as the colors and what regions they're on. This helps with using the stat tester. Also, the stat tester does allow you to change colors and the sub menu allows you to use all colors because of events and narrows down to naturally occurring for any time an event isn't happening.

I have never set up the overlay myself, the creator of Ark Smart Breeder does have a discord, he has contacted me in my discord channel. I would check out his, he may have someone that has put a guide out on the overlay.

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem or not, but the for some reason the stats are in blues and not the yellow/red/green like they used to be. And i find it hard to read it but is there some setting an update changed that I can change it back somehow?

you cannot use the dino export feature at all. but at the end of the video i address how you can manually input the stats, basically you will need to set it up in the setting for ASE or ASA and singleplayer or not singleplayer, But for setting up the folder where the dino exports go and using the dino export feature, since you are on a console you skip that step which is the majority, instead you will need to manually input the values of your dinos, I do show that at the end

I couldn't get mine to work. I used it during Evolve but never got any dinos to export in ASA. I ended up deleting Ark Smart Breeder. Downloading and setting it up new. It asks in the configuration if you want to use ASC or Evolved so I clicked ASC and opened up recently exported and all the dinos were there. Hope this helps anyone else having an issue trying to get this to work.

When I click on the downloaded file, nothing happens. My computer "dings" but nothing opens. I tried run as admin and same. I had this installed previously and it worked fine so no idea why I can't do it now. :( Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!!

This is a long shot given how this is 3 months old but I’m playing on pc but through the Xbox app on pc. I have been able to add my Dino export folder and everything correctly but I’m still getting the red box errors. I have ATTEMPTED (not quite sure if I’m doing correctly) to adjust the stats settings based on the sever settings but I can’t get it to go green. Is it because of me putting the stat settings wrong or is it because it’s not through steam?

so that is where it could be a bit iffy. I had mine go red as well for a while too before getting it correct. Make sure that number one you are selected on the right game. It has a check mark for ASA or ASE. Make sure you are in the right game firstly. Secondly I noticed that I had to uncheck and recheck single player settings while in Ark Survival Ascended in the game settings in order for me to get it to work. I had to change it back and forth 3 times just to get mine to work and that was the issue for me. It really shouldnt matter if it is bought on the x box app since it is just pulling information from where the export information is saved. private servers are the same as unofficial. You only click the single player setting if you are playing single player. Otherwise you just watch the video as normal.

no, i couldnt tell you what the 'best' is because most people have differing opinions and play very differently know what i mean. I did take a screenshot of my settings that i was running to make the breeding video in my discord though.

pc not amazing, pretty mid (outdated) to be fair. Case is a NZXT H500. CPU cooler NZXT Kraken x62. Motherboard is asus rog maximus XI Hero. GPU 3060 msi. CPU Core I7 8700K. 850 Powersupply gold. 32gig ram of 3200mhz.

I'm not part of dev team but I got this alert (from firewall). I think that the dev's are busy mathing and just didn't validate program with anti virus companies. I'm sure it opens ports to the internet (for compares and updates). That said, I have used this software years ago (mostly for inventory) I didn't get the percentages dialed in properly as I didn't have a good video like this to get me started. But I don't think it ever caused any malware harm. P.S. I am one of those who has trust issues with companies and governments. :^| Tips tinfoil hat
