I just had a killer practice sesh. Feeling pretty good about the behind-the-back and under the leg flip. Started practicing mills without the flip. Wicked stuff, man! Thanks for doing what you do!

Bro that looks so effortless and smooth... there's no way you can find enjoyment doing regular/ typical kettlebell movements anymore (cleans, swings, snatches, presses, etc.)
@Seanpearse20 күн бұрын
@@Foxeyflex I find enjoyment in both the exploration of breath of practice as well as depth. For example the kettlebell snatch is still a skill and exercise that love.

I started juggling this summer. First I bought a 12kg competition bell then I switched to an 8kg. I'm also considering to buy a 4kg one to practice harder flips... Seeing what you can do with a 16kg is just surreal for me 😳
@Seanpearse25 күн бұрын
I’ve been juggling for almost 4 years now and only in the last 3 months have started working with the 16kg to practice for the world games Classic Event. I’d say more than anything technique has been the biggest factor in making that switch because I stayed really light to work on form. I’ve used the 8kg more than any other bell…

I have been training with kettle bells, maces, and heavy clubs for about 4.5 years. I love the idea of juggling but intended on waiting to juggle until I was far more experienced. I assume you start juggling with a very light weight and very simple movements. What weight do you recommend and how much experience do you suggest before starting to juggle?
@Seanpearse3 ай бұрын
Awesome question! There is an entry point into juggling after you learn some simple fundamentals such as the swing and swing clean (even the snatch isn’t entirely needed for fundamental juggling…). As soon as we start venturing into more of an expanded juggling practice moving side to side and learning more advanced variations and flips it’s useful to understand 3D movement and multiplanar patterns (moving side to side, behind the body, and such…) I have a course called moving 3D that serves that purpose… And yes, start with an 8-12 kg, intentional repetitions are what’s important with learning juggling, so keeping it light works best

Hey there, it is possible to replicate some of these flips with a hairstyle bell it just will be more difficult. The competition bells flip nicer and more consistently. They’re worth the investment in my opinion.
