Good morning! I know you recommend me the Milwaukee and rigid. But the rigid k-400 auto feed is in my price range. Will this one work for some root issues kinda like in the video? Thank you dude 💯👍

Too much work doing a texas two way. Can easily install a regular two cleanout. Or should i say more money for a two way
@ThatPlumberDudeКүн бұрын
Plumbers do a lot of sewer isolation in Texas which requires long radius sweep. It’s really not that much more work for the benefits if you have the space.

Milwaukee pipeline camera looks great. I have to locator which imo blows ridgid scout away . That camera head looks like it can get in tight spots .
@ThatPlumberDudeКүн бұрын
Yeah it’s pretty compact. It’s the mid-stiff 120’ so it’s not as flexible as the MicroReel but it’s longer and can push through some small tough spots. But I heard Milwaukee is coming out with a comparable small reel.
@dariandarian95582 күн бұрын
Also I am think of buying the vevor press. What do you think ?? Thank you
@ThatPlumberDude2 күн бұрын
I don’t trust press tools outside of the major plumbing manufacturers. Milwaukee, Ridgid, Hilti, Dewalt, & Bosch. Anything outside of that I’d probably avoid. Home Depot offers interest free payments with a Depot Card for like 1-2 years, that’s what I did when I bought my first press 5 years ago. You’ll pay it off faster than you think.

Happy new year! I am on a budget what cable machine would you recommend for all around cleaning? From shower drain to 4 inch. Starting plumbing business. Thank you dude!
@ThatPlumberDude2 күн бұрын
If you’re getting into drain cleaning then I would recommend a sectional drain machine that does 5/8 and 7/8 cables like the Rigid K60 or M18 Fuel Sectional Machine. And get a small auger 1/4 auger for small drains. Also, you’ll need a closet auger. Those items will take you pretty far in drain cleaning.

hello...first thank you for your experience shering on Your video so, my questions is i was try to unclog the sink drain and the snake stuck inside the drain i cany getting out its almos a month ago so What you advice me to for this issue plssss help
@ThatPlumberDude2 күн бұрын
Oh no! I’ve ran it in reverse while pulling back on it periodically and it’s freed up. The key is to not force the snake, so when it does start to bind, you can find your way back out without getting too knotted. You may have to dig it out and cut the pipe to free it up.

What is that accessory clamp you used to make all the pro press clamp connections? Is that an option for tight spots because I’ve run into hard to get into spots with the tool on even 1/2” fittings. That sleeve seems like a great solution.

Yes it’s a close quarter jaw specifically designed for tight situations. If you press a lot, it’s definitely worth the investment.

A few different ways. You can either line trace with equipment or cut open the existing manifold and push a fish tape to the other side and listen for it.

Every time I use the ferrule blaster the ferrule gets stuck on the little tip thing and I have to cut it off. Same for you?
@ThatPlumberDudeАй бұрын
So I only use the Ferrule Blaster when there is minimal resistance. I can usually tell at the beginning if it’s gonna come off smoothly or not. If I know it’s not, then I use Saf-T-Kut to remove it.

how much run time do you get off that 6amp battery? Does it weigh less than the k400 ? I currently have the K400 with a 3/8 cable and im looking for replacement, my machine is super beat up :/
@ThatPlumberDudeАй бұрын
I’ve gotten multiple jobs off a single battery. That alone makes it worth it to me. It’s probably the same weight, it’s been a long time since I’ve used the K400 so I’m not certain. The foot pedal for the M18 Drum is so much better, doesn’t appear to have that deflating issue.
