Hi Joyyyyy!!! I kept a 5 year for the last 5 years AND did my TN Weeklies and that is exactly what happened. I was duplicating my entries and I did not like repeating stuff. but!! I only used the 5 yr for summaries / highlights and key photo memories because I did not have nearly enough room in the 5 yr....I decided not to buy a new one this year, but I keep wondering if I should have even though it was a pain because I DO love how you can just flip through and see what's happened for the last 5 years. Sigh.The struggle is real. So good to hear your voice though <3

Your struggle with planners is as just as bad as mine! 😂 I keep trying to use Hobonichi weeks but I hardly fill out any of the pages so it's a struggle and I decided not to try it again as I just end up wasting them. I'm doing Muji panned in vertical weeks for a change and hoping I'll fill that out more but I might just switch the following year to months only. I feel like such a failure at not being able to use it for basic calendar uses.

Maybe the older we get, and the more experienced with planning we have, the less we need in terms of planning space lol At least that's what I keep telling myself. Hope it works out for both of us next year! Happy New Year :)

I feel this so hard on the traveler's notebook inserts for journaling. I'm leaving it after more than two years and I'm excited but so scared.

I'm also very scared but excited to see where my new books take me this year. If not, then I'll go back next year lol (not me thinking about 2026 already). Hoping we find new journals that inspire us in 2025! Happy New Year, friend!

I love your sense of humor. You had me cracking up. The planner struggle is real. I spent most of my day today going back and forth between three notebooks I have trying to decide which one I want to ‘stick’ with. 1. Pen and Gear 4x6. 2. Rollbahn B6. 3. Pen and gear hard cover 3 x 5. I went back to my tried and true - the Pen and Gear 4x6. It’s so common it’s special. 😂. Go figure. I might change my mind in few minutes though. Please hold.
@ohaijoyАй бұрын
LOL I changed my mind so many times before I made this video. The Pen and Gear paper is really good and so accessible. Cheers to your 2025 planner choice 🥰

Love the random boots obake!!! I am using a random planner I found at kinokuniya by Takahashi Shoten. I liked the monthly and daily layout. I will also be using my hobonichi 5 year the best I can for the 4th year. And all other roll over journaling/memory keeping in random TN refills. I only bought 1 planner for this year and hope a weeks doesn't creep it's way in!

Ooh, I had to look up the Takahashi Shoten planner and it looks good! Those Weeks books always gotta weasel their way into every year's lineup.

Love and hugs, Joy! I so identify with the pressure family puts on you to have a baby, and how painful it is to feel like you have to keep explaining. Also, the depression during Covid isolation, has, in my case, put me on meds that don’t help. Journaling has helped me more than meds, and I hope it helps you.

Oh Joy, I had no idea what pain you have had. I know this pain as I also struggle with depression and I am single and never married or had children. It is so hard to watch friends and relatives get married and have children. I tried to act like it didn't bother me and became the best aunt I could be. But it still hurt. The most hurtful part are the words from family who put pressure on us. They have no idea what pain they are causing. I am so sorry that you have to hear this from the people who are supposed to love you the most. I am glad you are finding peace. You deserve peace and acceptance for who you are. You are so important, whether you have children or not. You are important because you exist. You are a bright light that needs to shine. I am so glad you are back on KZbin. I look forward watching your videos! 💜💚💙

Thanks for sharing and I wondered where you went. It is a hard time to lose those we love. I lost my mother in Sept 2020 and that was hard. Only to discover we have family we did not know we had as our grandfather was married before and his granddaughter from that marriage did a family tree and finally connected with us. Not sure why I tell you this story except for you both to expect the unexpected as we do not know what life will bring us and you bring a lot of joy to many of us in the planner community and so happy to came back to us. Love and Blessings to you and your family.

Joy, yours has always been one of my favorite KZbin channels .. I come by often to see if you’ve posted new content. Imagine my surprise upon seeing that you’d had. First, I am so sorry for your loss. 😞 To lose two people who mean so much to you, in such close proximity had to have been devastating. The fact that you are here to share, is a true testament of your strength. May GOD be with your loved ones always. You have my deepest condolences. 🙏🏽 Second, I am so sorry to hear about your struggles with starting a family. As a “later in life” mom of one miracle/rainbow baby (big girl now), believe me I know all about the heartbreak. I’m sure you and your husband have tried everything under the sun, but if you haven’t tried Clomid and AI, please do. It is much less expensive than IVF and definitely gives you a greater chance at conception. NEVER stop trying. Last, your bout with depression. I am so glad that you have been able to find what helps you cope with that and are feeling better. Please know you have so much love and support from your peoples behind the scenes. US! Please continue to pursue the things that make you happy and continue to heal. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and you will be a mom, just continue to believe. GOD bless and it’s so good to hear your sweet voice again! Stay safe!! ❤️🙏🏽❤️

So sorry regarding the challenges of starting a family and losing your cousin. Life definitely throws a lot of challenges at us, but know that you are not alone and there are many people who cheer you onward, whether they know you personally or not. I wish you well and I hope conversations about infertility could be more normalized and not cause so much pain to people. A lot of folks struggle... we all have our challenges in life and we have to just do our best. Thanks for sharing a great message - to keep going and make the best of the time we have! Sending ❤️
