What you should determine is what the temperature reset source is and look at the low/high reset source setpoints. The reset source can be the VFD speed, the outside air temperature, or the space temperature. The low/high reset source setpoints are the values from the reset source that determines what the SAT setpoint will be between the setpoint and high reset setpoint. I recommend looking into getting a CommLink 5 with the IP/Ethernet module, or if your building has a BACnet BMS system, to wire it into the BACnet terminals on the controller.

This is a high pressure blower used for super chargers on cars and industrial applications. I didn't really have a use for it, as I just wanted to play around with it.

I assume the generator started up just for test and maintenance? Looks like it wasn't generating power at the time. Is is just for standby in the event the utility is offline, or possibly is it used to reduce the load when the utility is charging peak rate? It's all very interesting. Thanks for the video. 👍

Yes this generator was performing it's Monthly start up and run. It is programmed to do this. I think it will be once a year or twice a year for a load test , need to find out as this building is only a year old. This is backup power for the buildings fire alarm system / fire pump / emergency lighting and our two elevators. I will do a video just on the genantor and backup system itself.

Not necessary number 6 oil, it could be an uneven fuel to air ratio. Even if its number 4 oil it can still smoke

so my setup is similar and my oil supply line from the oil tank to the filter is empty. How do I suck the supply line full with oil up to the burner? Since the oil pump on the burner will not suck when the line is full with air.

35psi is not high pressure. Lol you couldn't get that close if it was high pressure. Where the leak is at is has been reduced to 35psi so where the leak is isn't high pressure

@disciplesofchristministry9269 Here in New york city anything over 15 PSI for steam only is considered high pressure. High pressure boilers start at 15 and up.

The compressor going nuts, this unit has a digital scroll compressor, actually, so it is staging up and down as normal, it is normal for digital scroll compressor to do that and this unit has one

What main controller does it have? Is it a VCB-X or VCC-X2? If it is a VCC-X2, there should be a RSMD module, which should be sending the speed to the condenser fan VFDs based on the head pressure reading. The status menus on the RSMD should tell you the setpoint and the current reading. Is this a make-up air/DOAS unit?

Nice job. It gets a little tense in situations like that when you’re pushed to get things back on line in a hurry. Glad there were no hitches. Are there pressure reducers in the building ahead of the fixtures? 120+ seems like a lot. I’m not familiar with multi story buildings.

My unit is over 20 yrs old and filthy and could not find any service that replaces it or cleans that section so I had to pry it open with a screw driver, bending the tabs, 4 on each side if I recall. It was the only way I could get it off but permanently bent and not able to slip it back in. I likely will have to break off all the tabs so it will just sit on top. Tbh I don’t see a purpose to needing the tabs and breaking them off will allow me to easily remove them on my own anytime going forward. Happy to hear any other suggestions from anyone on this. I have 6 units in my apt to do this for!

I am dealing with the same thing. My diverter wasn't diverting. I tried to pull the diverter stem out and it was not coming out. I damaged it trying to gorilla it out. Next project is to put a hole in the wall and cut the whole mess out and put a modern single handle valve in there. 3 handle plumbing is no longer code in California (but grandfathered in)
