Jungle tarzan 😂 "Did Dad get into a fight? Dad fought a lion" absolutely lovely interview. As much we travel for education, we also need to educate people especially those that think Africa is one country😊 We have 54 countries. It must be so difficult being the only black in your year group. A lot of us parents have no idea what our children go through😢

Awesome!! I get what you're saying about crime rates in London. However, as a parent, you've to be present in your kids lives. You've to be intentional. You can move to outside London, but your kids might still turn out to be gang members if you're not involved in their lives. That's the gospel truth. Having said that, London is completely different from the rest of the UK. Sometimes, you've to take the rough with the smooth. Why do you think some English people who live up North or in the Midlands don't like London? Look at three Black British players who missed their penalties in Euros final a few years ago, there were racially abused. Players like Saka, Sancho, and Rashford faced unacceptable treatment. Keep up the good work, ma'am!

Discrimination cannot do me anything as long there's no physical abuse or assault. Put yourself in there shoes, let assume westerns flooding our country taking our jobs and doing them well like we Nigerians can do, we won't be happy too. Didn't we chased Ghana away? We should be grateful their country grass is greener then ours. Achieve your aims and invest in Africa.

Actually I agree with this comment. I live in England and I try to see things from their perspective and I totally understand the things they do and because of that I’ve made up my mind that my children will grow up with good confidence and not feel any less than them. Back home I remember how we treat people with albinism so differently and many times you don’t want to sit with them in class… should we talk about the discrimination and prejudice between states and regions in Nigeria and between African countries? I believe it’s just a human thing to be territorial, and with understanding and love we can all live well together.

I don't blame the western world for portraying Africa in derogatory manner. "Boni igba base pe igba e la o ba pe". The way you address yourself so shall you be treated. Most times we Africans are doing much disservice to our motherland due to our utterances and actions. We 'badmouth' the continent so often.

Am moving back too . But it’s disturbing to have your children here leave them here and move 5000 miles away. Particularly when they are only eighteen or 19thin or even twenty years old because they are not really matured as yet.

The reality is, there cannot be total acceptance or citizen -integration, if a place is not an indigenous home, inspite of generations of stay and age of citizenship. Unfortunately, this is so in the US and the West and might be for a long time.

You do know your subject matter and you are definitely addressing crucial issues which are helpful but please arrange yourself and coordinate the topic in an organised sequence before you come on board, you seem to be repeating and over emphasizing rather than being straight on point.I hope you receive this observation in good faith , I know most Nigerians don't take kindly to criticism.Well done.

I live in Nigeria. People living in Nigeria should show understanding to those staying overseas. It is not easy to make money. And the numbers of people asking money from those overseas are enormous. Everybody either abroad or in Naija should work with their own hands. Doing so will not make you dependent on others

Those people begging in street UK are not really poor, they get social welfare benefits and shelter with foods to eat, you wouldn’t get that kind in Nigeria despite the relatives/families in UK and America are suffering sending money back home to feed or paying child’s education So who is stingy??? I sometimes help to contribute homeless but I have to think twice if the money helps them or buy some food for them because they involves in some drugs for short survival.

Yes I agree that the standards and regulations in Nigeria have to be better in Nigeria however we have to be fair. 10 years ago a 3 bed terrace in the outskirts of London would be about £300k in the Uk but now such properties would average about £400k to €450k which is over N900M when converted to Naira and this is not even a high brow property. A more spacious and more beautiful property in Nigeria is offered at N400M or N500M and diasporans are complaining and comparing. What Nigeria needs is better mortgage system than is currently available and to grow the purchasing power of the people.

Wonderful video! When my parents moved into their built home. The cost to paint was very high. My mum as an action and strong woman just went to buy paints, asked the right questions and we (my mum and my siblings) painted the whole house, except for the main entrance stair area with high walls. Interestingly, we had a family friend who has done painting jobs for us in the past. He was really surprised my mum and my siblings pulled it off. This occurred here in Nigeria.

The timidity and not looking people in the eye in Nigeria culture, believe it or not, is part if the reason Nigeria is in such a mess. The confidence instilled in youths living in the uk makes them less likely to be submissive to corrupt leaders or accept bs from constituted authority. Children need to know their rights and obligations. If your child asks you why they have to do something, you explain to them why, if you have no good reason, then ask yourself whether you really have a good reason to ask them in the first place or whether you yourself are just being unreasonable.

If you plan to stay in uk for the long term and your employer has generous pension contributions, make sure you max it out, that way you get tax savings from it, also youll have a lot saved in investments. So you have a lot if savings but not cash and you cant touch it. No one will be able to pressure you into giving money because you literally can't touch it yet. But if you just save cash, inflation will first of all punish you plus youll likely end up just dashing it to ungrateful people

There's a reason I don't have close friends nearby. My dearest friend is in the USA we don't ask each other for money. I like to be sociable but the financial burden has taught me to stay home. I always appeal to people to look after themselves first. I learnt from my big sister, she's a nurse Specialist working 3-4 jobs she's been in the USA since 1998, she barely spends her money on herself, everything is omo mi, oko mi, egbon mi, aunty mi, uncle mi. I fight her most times to buy something for herself or go on vacation. People will call her and give her stories. One person even said she was just kidnapped she should send money. If anyone like, they can call me stingy, na thier wahala be that
