So, could you do the flip kit, and a 2inch lift shackle to achieve a 4" drop? Hangers suck cause you gotta drop the tank. And it'll be easy to drop it to 5 or 6 in the future.

Yeah, it will be the same thing I did, in this video. Exactly that’s why we didn’t want to do drop hangers in case later on he wants to go lower. It’ll be much easier.

Hey bro, I dont know if you are responding to comments in 2024 😅. My rear end is a posi track with 327 gearing with drums. I want to go to a 373 gearing with disc. What all would I need to make this work. I'm looking to find someone parting something out and pick up everything I need. Also, the hard brake lines and e-brake cables, will it matter if the two vehicle lengths are not the same? I guess will those things come in different lengths as well and possible not match up? I know that was a lot, and thank you for the video ether way👊

@@UnratedRetribution as long as rear end is complete with everything needed to bolt up you should be good. Now as far as e brake cables you need to find the ones for you’re chassis For example if u have a Crewcab the e brake cables need to be off that

So I did this turned on for a few seconds then a heard a pop and my ac stopped working and the head unit won’t turn on. I hear the ac blowing but nothings coming out of the vents now. Any help?

Check your fuses and also check your wiring again. Something must not be connected correctly. Sounds like somethings shorted out.

Front end question, are drop lower arms and drop spindles required? Your video along with a couple of others just use the drop spring, but my local shop says to use those listed above?

@@JL-ru2bu So for your drop, I would recommend a 3 inch lowering control arms by DJM Suspension. But if you’re on a budget, all you need is 3 inch drop springs in the front

I put a ss2 cam in my 6.0, I changed the springs but they where new stock ones, making a lil tapping sound. Went thru 3 sets of lifters and rods and still there, u think its cuz I'm not using these Pac 1218 springs?

It can be the springs but it can also be a few different things like rods could be to long or to short. What brand lifter’s? Tapping could also be from a exhaust leak and sounds like a tap

I would get the pac 1218 springs. “Upgraded valve springs are required due to increased lift”

If I was able to do it, I’m pretty sure you can bro just take your time with it. That way you don’t cut too much. I rather cut a little at a time.

if i got 2 in drop shackles on rn could i put 3 in blocks on and do the front for a 3/5 drop? and get a notch welded or should i just go flip kit and put the lift shackles on it?

The 3 inch blocks will only lift your truck up at the moment unless you get a flip kit then install the 3 inch blocks. Because in order for the lowering blocks to work, your diff hasta be sitting on top of the leaf springs. And right now as you sit diff is sitting on the bottom of leafs

On my 21 sport 4x4 neither tie rod would drop. I beat on it quite a bit and no movement at all. I put some PB blaster and no help. I put a wood block on the bolt and still it wouldn’t come out either side. I had to put it all back together. I guess my mechanic is gonna have to do it.
