It’s generative learning, not stealing. If i looked at lots of your art and made an artwork inspired by that, that wouldn’t make it stealing.

This is such a bad comparison. Taking someone’s artwork and feeding it to AI without permission IS stealing. And most people who take inspo credit the person they took inspiration from. You just don’t want to admit the questionable morality behind what you’re doing and you don’t WANT to listen to the real artists you “kindly” take from because you couldn’t be bothered to learn how to draw yourself or ask someone to do it for you. So why are you even bothering wasting your time trying to justify it?

@@Autumn-fk4fo it’s learning. If i look at an image and use that to help learn that art style i’m not stealing, am I? You artists are just mad that progress is coming. When digital printers came, all the people who worked with printing presses went out of business. You don’t hear them complaining. Why? Because it’s just the way life is.

I use a i r for my d&d campaigns because sometimes I can't find a piece of art that represents a character that I have in my head and I don't have the money to spend on commissions. And also I'm already blatantly stealing art so morally I'm in the wrong from the beginning and nothing really changed Also this is for personal use amongst friends so crucify me if you want I don't care

okay, some of these are good ideas, specifically the torso or the legs, but thats where my positivity ends, why do you need ai arms to draw for you? ai art is just lazy.

Yea the metaphor is weak. Sure haha AI = Little Baby Training Wheels. But the whole point of training wheels is to teach you so you can understand how to ride a bike. AI absolutely can do this. If he’s gonna make fun of people using AI, he should target companies like DeviantArt and compare them to a vacuum, sucking away all people’s hard work to generate a quick image.
