I bought the TORRES 4WD model in Amazon green colour a month ago. It is really a wonderful car and I think I will use it for many years without any problems. The sunroof is not visible in the car you are presenting here. There are also those sold in Türkiye 🇹🇷. The screen is framed in those sold in Türkiye, there are some changes like flat here. But what I will say is this: 10# car. I recommend it. 🚙👍

Nice and clear video. They only used to much hard plastics in visual places. But what about the many alerts the car makes while driving? I am looking to purchase the Torres EVX, but the many alerts are frustrating and makes me look at a Peugeot e5008. Has KGM already fixed this on both models? (Combustion and EVX)

Spent a good half hour looking at one. Good effort and definately value for money. But not enough horses and that infotainment system is diabolical.

Just a typical dealer trying to sell you a 4-5000 € (manufacturer price) car 3-4 times more expensive 😂 Not to say that the other brand are that much more expensive out of the factory gates ,not saying that I am just saying he tries to sell us the cheapest car posible to a semi luxury car price ( mercedes has models under 35-30k )

Just looked at the MOT history and it was last done at 125,000 with only advisory of needing front front brake pads. Impressive!

I dont know about saving. EVs can work for some if they charge at home but they do suffer from brake disk corrosion at the MOT looking at previous EVs second hand. If your driving 30 miles a day max it makes sense with a 150 mile winter range. Even then repair after an accident can cost more, the service charges are the same as petrol too. Ive seen on youtube people being charged by dealers to remove air from the EV cooling system😮.

ive got the 12 year old ssangyong korando sports pick up, squeaks from the rear hut thing loks like the whole of the back part moves separate from the frame, peeling internals on the gear selector etc. 108000 miles. its a work truck so its battered, hit a hidden wall in a bush while driving through it, never got it fixes, but it hasnt rusted over so not really a problem. over loaded probably a few times. still starts first time and goes when i want it to. I measure mine with gallons per mile as its economy isnt great, but i went for the automatic one as im lazy. no leaks, no real problems except some suspension issues when i hit a kerb at 70mph straight on, I was surprised i didnt break any wheels or anything else as it was one hell of a hit, it took a year to go to the garage to get the damage fixed it probably didnt really need to go. oil changed and filter changed every 10,000 miles. pads and disks when needed, pads are every couple of years. tyres every couple years as well. bought for £13,500 7 -8 years ago with 23,000 miles on the clock. its always got me home.

I recently traded in a Disco 5 HSE 2017 TD 6 for an Ultimate Plus. Did it as I was fed up with the hopeless reliability of the thing. Eight weeks in, could not be happier, does everything i want. Carries 7 people, tows my 1800kgs caravan, is comfortable and roomy, and apparently, is very unlikely to leave me stranded 200 miles from home, with three grandchildren and a caravan, like the LR did!

4.9 miles kwh. thats about the same as my 2014 nissan leaf which is a much smaller car than the korando. efficiency is more important than battery size. ps i charge my leaf on a thre pin at cheap rate. this does 90% of my driving and so cheaply.

Well we are a dealer for KGM! However we report objectively warts and all. This is genuinely the best car that KGM/SsangYong has ever made. It's hard to fault at any price point in all honesty. I would like to see better fuel efficiency from a different engine, but that would mean a jump in price. KGM is however working on a Hybrid powertrain, and lets not forget the electric model is superb with over 300 miles in testing from a single charge, so they kind of have that covered too!

57 miles and 46.8 mpg is not 9L/100km ! It is 5.5L/100km.
@frenkihunter75235 ай бұрын
@@SecondoBisogno Well, I count in km and liters. And that conversion, to miles and gallons, is difficult to get right. However, I don't know a single Ssang Yong owner who can drive 5.5L/100km. At least, in ideal conditions, from 6.5 liters upwards. On average, owners state about 7.5-8 l/100km. And that's the better case.

Great video, that's good to know that still going strong after 109k miles, and good as new too, I currently have a diesel jeep renegade I got on 5 years hire purchase finance, have 4 years left but definitely fancy one of these in 3 or 4 years time, be great for my camping and mountain biking, was going to Save a big deposit for brand new one , but after seeing this video it's actually making me consider getting a used one maybe 2 or 3 years old and probably be half the price of new one too, the musso Saracen 2024 in green looks amazing that be my choice in 3 or 4 years time 👌👍🏴

"the seats fold down completely flat" Drops the seats, not flat, huge hump. "the back seats recline to give you loads more headroom" Reclines seat, which proceeds to move about 3 centimetres. Just review it as it is, don't flat out lie while we can see what the car is really like.
@clarioncarsuk88376 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for the input, but you are mistaken on both. At 10:21 we mention the "the seats don't go completely flat" and then at 10:33 mention that flat loading can be achieved with the optional accessory trays. The rear seats recline 8cm horizontally, which gives around 18cm (7 inches) extra headroom. Seeing as the average height variance of an adult is 5.75 inches, and this variable space exceeds this, we feel that the description is fine. Hope this helps you make a buying decision.

@@clarioncarsuk8837 We hired one of these in Mallorca (asked for a Juke but got this). Basic, manual, petrol. Found one rear seat belt trapped in the seat latch and could not release it. Found the release levers disconnected from the Bowden cable due to broken fasteners on the release levers. So much for the 'turn round' inspection but illustrates the poor plastics. The gearbox was appalling and obstructive. So much so that we abandoned plans to explore the Tramuntana mountain hair pin roads. OK, it was a hire car but I wouldn't buy one. By the way - NEVER use Goldcar hire!

Does the 2024 new spec model have memory electric seat's yet ? Parter is 5'2" iam 5'9" pain trying to get that set, mirrors steering seat& height?,. Life's to short!? Side steps are they an extra cost?! No wireless charger even the cheaper car's & every Chinese model has wireless !? The strange looking blocks on the grill are where they didn't install the KHAN name 😅 you should check out an Australian spec model musso ultimate + package & the Rexton ultimate + luxury package. Australia gets absolutely treated worse than a third world country when compared to your standard features?!

the 50/50 0% deal is not that uncommon - Subaru have been running this for quite sometime. I was considering the Torres AWD but I can get a Forester with the same deal and it's a bit cheaper - but it's a Subaru with proven AWD and reliability. It's a shame the Torres is at the top end of the price range - I don't quite know why KGM have done this.
@clarioncarsuk88376 ай бұрын
Hi Martha thanks for the input. We didn't know that Subaru were offering a similar 50-50 deal, but still, not sure we'd class 2 manufacturers in a market of over 40 as 'common'! The Forester is an interesting choice, but it's not quite an apples to apples comparison, it's a smaller car in all dimensions with 200 litres less boot space, far lower spec comparatively if you choose the cheaper (than the Torres K40 AWD) XE model, higher kerb weight with the same MPG even though it's a mild hybrid! The Torres is only available as a top model in AWD, in the same top model spec, the XE premium Forester is actually £1,100 more expensive. In terms of reliability, it's curious to see that Subaru only offer a 3 year 60k warranty Vs the KGM 5 year 100k for ICE and 7 year for EV. In actual fact, if you really want proven 4wd, off road domination and loads of space, then the Rexton is all of that for the same price as a Forester! Best of luck whichever you choose!
