I just replaced the FSV on my 97 F-350 yesterday and it fixed the problem. Starts runs a mile or two fuel filter light comes on then won't start. Starts after minutes runs fuel light on again etc. !!PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!! I bought the valve but it didn't come with the plastic clips. I went to the auto parts store and they had two different packages of clips. One package had 5 white clips and the other package had 3 white ones and three black ones. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because nowhere explained in any of these threads is this information: This valve has (3) 3/8th lines and (3) 5/16th lines. YOU NEED THE PACKAGE WITH 3 BLACK AND 3 WHITE. The black ones are for the 3/8th lines and the white ones are for the 5/16th lines. LABEL THESE BEFORE TAKING THEM OFF! Furthermore, you must install the clip BEFORE putting the line onto the valve. In addition, use Sil-Glide silicone on the necks of the valve to make the line slide on easier Once you do this, the line simply snaps onto the valve locking it in place. If you mess any of these steps up you will break the new clip and be going back to the parts store for another package if they even have another one. If you haven't changed the valve yet follow this advice or you will be sorry. If you have the valve out and didn't mark them then you have a problem. They should be sitting the way they line up with the new valve. The two lines that go to the front of the truck should be left hooked up until you have the valve. These are the ones that will confuse you. The other two sets as stated should be in the position they were when they were hooked up to the valve. I hope this helps anyone changing this valve out. It's a beast and you get a diesel bath but knowing these steps will save you a LOT of grief. Again, NOBODY on any of these threads offers this information and I didn't have to find out the hard way, I hooked one up figured out I had a white clip on the 3/8th side and it wouldn't snap onto the valve. THIS is how I figured out how the clips are supposed to be installed. I was able to get it switched around before it gave me some grief.

i have a few skip tooth chains that have either 2 left or 2 right cutters back to back where the chain was put together at the master link when it was made. wonder how that would work with these auto grinders since its pretty common to have the 2 same cutters on them.

Riff Raff diesel has the best price on the OEM part. I plugged in my new one I got from them and my tanks still won't switch 😂 gonna pull the cluster trim and test the switch and wiring today. Wiring is rare but my truck has a bunch of aftermarket electrical added very poorly so it wouldn't surprise me if the tapped into the wiring for one of the accessories 🎉 I think I paid almost $400

Change the aluminum waterbox to one off a 2016 v1 tr1 engine. Its 2 inches shorter and you can use 4 inch inboard exhaust hose. You do need to trim the piece that holds the ecm. Sounds awesome

I built my house 32 years ago and just two months ago, had it pumped for the first time. The tank was full. After pumping it out, it was suggested to use some copper sulphate to kill any roots that may be leaching into the drain field. I prevented from planting any large trees near the drain field. I added the yeast about a month later and have had no problems yet! I'll add the yeast from now on.

Did these today. Everyone says they come out easy. Im calling BS... Front two were definitely leaking bad, never done with almost 300,000 kms on the clock...buy the entire plug/seal replacement part... I got one out with a breaker bar (240+ ftlb), the other 3 required an air hammer (chisel?) to get them to spin out...front of the engine was just saturated in oil...

On my 2012 vx cruiser I spent hours. Probably going to end up using a sawz all to remove it. It’s awful to remove. This video doesn’t explain how terrible this is to remove. Just know this before trying it on the model I have. Be warned. I’ve removed the jet pump, replaced impeller, spark plugs, removed my air box. I have many tools and know what I’m doing around a wrench. This is not easy. Anyway. That’s a warning and word to the wise.
